I agree, although it does provide the world evidence of how badly the hotel staff managed the situation. You never move a person who’s collapsed and having convulsions. You call an ambulance immediately. You never leave them unattended as at the very least they are at risk of choking on their tongue or vomit. Instead they placed a VERY ill and intoxicated man in a room alone with drugs & alcohol still in the room And a balcony. The hotel staff were totally negligent. He would still be alive if they called an ambulance and kept him in the lobby or had someone keep an eye on him.

We can agree to disagree on this. I taught in school for 35 years. Kids got ill, kids got violent and aggressive. I was paid to teach. I didn't neglect those sick/aggressive/violent kids. I kept them safe, got them medical help, and restrained when they were at risk to themselves and others. I didn't place them in a more convenient room. I'm not a doctor, psychiatrist or police officer. I did it because it's right to do so. To help that person in need from harm. He was intoxicated, unable to think rationally. When it comes to mental health unfortunately as a society we still struggle with it. An individual experiencing mental health cant explain something they do not understand them selves. The confusion of not knowing why you’ve withdrawn from everything you once loved whether it’s hobbies or friendships relationships or even family it never discriminates. Yet you have to explain why you can’t maintain these relationships and become demonised to the ones that once loved you. You then find your self isolated unable to communicate the way you once did. Without realising a struggle has begun and your expressing it in many ways or behaving in many different ways you become a former shell of yourself it strips you of everything you were once proud of & loved. You then find yourself in a war for survival you start contemplating things that were once unimaginable. You become lost lonely sad and extremely vulnerable. You know how this war has affected you so you do your best to not allow anyone go through the same war you’re going through. You do everything you can to make people laugh or smile because the sadness you experience is something you wouldn’t wish on your worst enemy. You battle your way through it until you beat it or you succumb to it. who you are as a person will determine how you deal/fight this war you find yourself in. Talk. Reach out. Most importantly do it your own way. 🙏

Unfortunately as well, some of us have dysfunctional brain hormone receptors and cells that have affected our cognitive, emotional, mental and physical development and function, it’s not about the alcohol, food, drugs, sex, it’s about the filling the whole in the soul, its getting rid of the black block that sits in the frontal lobe, for a while the alcohol or paracetamol moves it, then it comes back. You go to the drs, some have blood tests and told everything’s normal, then some of us are lucky to get diagnosed, you then realise you look at your maternal and paternal both sides of your families, and the birth defects you were born with a heart murmur and jaundice, and that your thyroid hadn’t developed properly, the childhood anxiety, insomnia, breathlessness, lack of energy, learning difficulties, poor impulse control, makes sense, the menstruation problems as a teenager make sense, the binge eating, then the diagnosis hypothyroidism in later years, the fact your body was slower for a reason all those years before, and the thyroid being one of the first things checked in mental health. You see other endocrine glands abnormalities that have caused the period problems the pituitary. So the anger makes a bit more sense and the foggy feeling in your head, then when you know other members of your family seeing the learning difficulties, the anxiety, and learning your mother in law has it, seeing the mental illness, then seeing a dr dismiss abnormal results on family members blood results, and when they do get diagnosed its like putting a sticking plaster on a open wound that should have been stitched from their birth problems jaundice. I’ve sat in a room if people in aa , people with bpd’s, with autism and adhd, and for many of us we have hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism, or /and our parents siblings or grandparents, aunts and uncles have it. You do more research from medical reputable sources of how cravings/addictions can be associated with oestrogen, testosterone, cortisol and other hormones. When a person isn’t eating properly and not getting the right vitamins and nutrients, it affects our endocrine system, add life’s stressors, trauma, relationships/births/pregnancies. A man I’ve just recently met as a friend, who ate junk food, drank lots of alcohol, hard working , extremely emotional, decided to change his life new fitness regime, healthy lifestyle, and he was trying to fix himself, but when I found his mum and brother had been diagnosed with hypothyroidism, and he hadn’t, I knew his old ways would start to come back, and they are, although he is doing the right by trying to be more healthy, its the mental side, your fighting with, its the easier way to make you forget, its the comfort, and that’s the irrational side of, addiction. That’s why even though I judge a book by its cover by my minds default setting, I quickly remember my journey and how fortunate I am that I’m diagnosed and have the knowledge i do, and the ability to have through the help of another medical professional fight to get my family diagnosed.

He should NEVER have been placed back in the room alone with a balcony three floors up when they stated he was convulsing and they had to carry him up there, that he was upset and in distress, he was crying and begging for help in and out of consciousness!!! The hotel staff need to be held accountable for those decisions as if they got him out the way and stuck in that room in that state to appease other guests rather than to save him, help him with urgency then they they need to be held accountable. They knew he was drunk or high and in a manic episode to convulsions and upset, they knew he shouldn't be around a balcony in that state, yet they carried him up to the room with balcony, in that state! UNACCEPTABLE!!! There are literally MILLIONS of fans and civilians worldwide who would have happily sat with him and made sure he got some help! WHY DIDN'T THEY????? 😢such a tragedy!!! His poor son! His poor parents and bandmates and fans and friends !!! Most of all poor Liam 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😔

You are responsible for yourself.... Let's not put the blames on others. You can't expect others to be your doctor, your psychiatrist , your personal bodyguard; your baby sitter etc... So easy to put blames on others and then complain with your next breath that your privacy is not respected.,,, It is already a great tragedy, . stop with the really sad and atrocious second hand blame game to make yourself sound and look good,
@MyYouTube-ni5ceАй бұрын
Not their responsibility he was a grown man. It’s sad and tragic what happened but the blame lies on him. What would be said if whoever tried to help him got hurt by him while he was in his “manic episode”. I don’t blame anyone who don’t want to involve themselves with a person under the influence of drugs or alcohol due to the fact of irrational dangerous behavior. Innocent people die too much trying to be the hero. They did what is expected by calling emergency services.
@AnimatedBlastАй бұрын
You are blaming the hotel? His residence was a balcony suite. He obviously didn’t first check in drunk. Wake the hell up. Sometimes, it isn’t everyone else’s fault.

Omg, was that really Liam’s parents that they were bombarding?! They seriously have absolutely zero respect for ANY human being do they? Paparazzi are on another level, they really are - literally bombarding someone’s grieving parents just to get a juicy tidbit. Animals, seriously. As a Mother myself, this breaks my heart. 😢
@cathneary6135Ай бұрын
There is no way the father should have had to experience that, i appreciate the fact that fans want to pay tribute to Liam but keep it dignified and respectful. Imho, the hotel should have either found a more discreet entrance for his dad to enter the hotel or, if this is not possible, then moved the fans aside behind cordons for the duration of his visit, so they can still do their vigil but the dad doesnt have to go through that spectacle. **edited ** My apologies. I have been informed it was press, not fans surrounding his dad, my mistake, i misread the situation, it is good that some of the fans tried to give the dad a little privacy. The press really do not care so long as they get the pics and story, which is sickening.
@teadora99Ай бұрын
It wasn't the fans that were all in his face, it was media reporters trying to get a story. The fans were trying to block out all the windows of the hotel so that Liam's father could at least have some privacy while in there from the awful media outlets and paparazzi just trying to get their hands on a story as if it's not a tragedy

I was neither a follower of Liam or Cheryl etc. But I 'completely' agree with her statement. All these so-called reporters, trolls and fans, will all move on with their lives in days, weeks and months time (yes, there will be some mental impact on those who personally cannot cope with the reality, of what has unfortunately happened. But all the 'former' need to back off, stop over analyzing gossip, and just have some respect and empathy for those that will be 'in no doubt' impacted by this, for the rest of their lives....not just periods of temporarily.
