@@carlbaumeister3439 He`s sharpe. Paul sang just as good as Robert Plant in the 70`s.

At the time some people took this song totally out of context, McCartney said he did this song for children and it's great!

Thank you for sharing that expensive collection that most of us couldn't afford! I subscribed immediately! This is a period that has only been really exposed to the U.S.A. until now. We always heard about it and that was it. Red Rose was a great album but those B-sides on our flip side 45's were always a mystery! You have helped close a gap to see how great it really was. THANK YOU!

@@richarddefortuna2252That’s good, too. Totally different. And Buddy Guy’s version is even better the SRV’s cover, at least his singing.

@@carlbaumeister3439 I am a bit confused here. This is a song written by Paul McCartney. I was not aware that so many other artists had done covers of this since it is a relatively unknown McCartney song. And while we are talking about vocal performances. Paul`s singing here is absolutely wonderful. He peaked vocally in the early 1970`s, and this is a fantastic example of his beautiful voice.

Footage looks to be from their Ram On era- a very musically interesting time for Paul. Lennon would have called it nursery rhyme- don't care, it still is an interesting signature McCartney song effort.

What’s that other keyboard beside the Fender Rhodes that Linda played in the concert?
@carlbaumeister34397 ай бұрын
She did play the Rhodes on occasion (although Paul usually played it), and aside from a Moog, I’m not sure what synths she played in the 70s. In the late 80s and into the 90s, she played a Roland D-50 & A-50, as well as an Emulator II +. I know she also played Yamahas.
