no. they took it out because the song "The Jabberwocky" was suppose to be in the film, however Walt Disney thought it was to scary so he had the Cheshire Cat sing it. (when Alice meets him the first time) As a result they took out this song. Actually, there were many songs wrote for the movie that never made it in. After Disney died, they found all the songs in the Disney Vault. XD

I'm pretty sure that's Jim Cummings singing in place of the late Sterling Holloway; he's shown a lot of skill with mimicking well-known voices for dub work, so it wouldn't surprise me that Disney would call on him again in this case.

Yep, that's Jim Cummings. Sterling Holloway never actually sung the song because it was cut from the movie. However they decided to include the song in the extras of the special edition so they asked Cummings to sing it since he can sounds exactly like him.

I wasn’t allowed to watch this movie growing up. My mom saw it when she was 6 years old in 1965 and she said when Alice fell down the hole, she kept saying that Alice got sucked down the hole. She flipped out and my grandma dragged her out of the theater. When the live action Alice in wonderland came out in 2010, my sister and I went and saw it. My mom kept talking us out of it because she said it will scare you for life, we saw it and we both loved the movie and it was very interesting. We were never scared at all, everyone has that certain fear of a movie. I don’t like a Christmas carol, that movie scared me at 14 years old. Mr Scrooge fell into a coffin with fire coming out of the bottom of it. That scared the shits out of me and I haven’t really watched it then.

I remember when i was a little younger, me and my old friend were fans of this movie and talked about it all the time. I said Cheshire Cat was my favorite, and she said her was Alice. But then a few months later, she said that she lied to me about her liking Alice and that Ches was her favorite all along. I then lied to her back about me not liking him as much anymore and liking The White Rabbit instead. But really i liked Ches the most. This may sound weird, but when we liked characters from something we couldn't have the same favorite, which was fucking stupid..
