For me Penaud is a lot like Will Jordan. Great reader of the game and knows how to put himself in position to finish with good pace. Kolbe is an absolute freak.

I am English, and the French are the old enemy, and I can say Penaud is better. If I want to get a cricket score against a 2nd tier team Kolbe is your man, if I am going in to play against one of the top team Penaud, he offers more and is harder to defend against.

Better? I don’t know. Both are brilliant! I love watching both of them play. Kolbe can cover more positions and is perhaps more versatile, Penaud has the size to dominate smaller opponents. Both step like demons! What a time to be a rugby supporter! Such a wealth of prodigious talents.

Kolbe during Toulouse era was the best winger in the world by far. Since two years, he's not the best south-africans winger. Penaud is offensively better but he's really poor in defense. Kolbe is more reliable. In current form, it's a pretty close call.
