Come on, Before Mourinho came to Chelsea and started the golden era of Chelsea they already had very big names : F. Lampard , J. Terry , Hasselbaenk, Gudjohnsen, Gallas, Makelele, Crespo , Veron, Duff, Babayaro , Cudicini, Joe Cole, Bridge, Gronkjaer , Geremi, Desailly and Zola ... When Mourinho came to Stamford Bridge he signed Cech, Robben , Drogba and brought Carvalho and Ferreira . Hasselbaenk was much better than his replacement Drogba in this first half of 2004-05 season . and you Can't say that Robben was really much better than Gronkjaer at that time. Chelsea glory already started before Mourinho after reaching Champions legue SF.
