I can watch Yasser all day long when he is playing blitz chess and commenting with his magnificent calm voice(no techno music also helps)... I was going to say can u please make more videos with yasser and I find this which is amazing. Im hoping that we are going to see more banter blitz with Yasser Seirawan. It would be amazing if Yasser would create his own youtube channel and makes videos about him playing chess, that would be the best chess channel ever.

It is a 3 mins blitz chess and Yasser plays in such a relaxed manner. Incredible! Feels more like classical chess than blitz chess. Yasser's chess is really smooth. He is my chess hero and I studied a lot of his games.

I can't remember Vince's last name even though he stayed with me at one SB tourney, but he wrote a fine book about Yasser including a game in which McCambridge defeated Seriwan.

When I first got into chess and saw Yasser's kid lectures, I thought he was a smart but goofy guy...didn't care too much for him. Got to see more of his other lectures and found chessbrah a couple years ago. Absolutely my favorite to watch analyze positions and talk now. Everything he says is so well thought out and insightful. Great positional style. Such a great guy.

54:39 GMs are simply incredible. In less than a second, Yasser and Eric both reached the realization that Bxb2 Qf7+ Kh6 (Kh8 Qg8#) Qf8+ Kh7 (Kh5 g4+ (Qh8+ Qh6 g4+ Kg5 doesnt work) Kh4 Qh8+ (or Qh7+) wins black's queen) gives a perpetual check, and that Qd2+ is not any better. I, being a complete and utter patzer, had to look at the position for a solid 3-5 seconds to see all this.

Don't forget that Yasser isn't just a master teacher. He beat former world champion Mikhail Tal the first three times he played Tal in serious games. The great Bobby Fischer lost the first 4 times he played Tal and until he played the world championship match with Boris Spassky he had lost when he played Boris in FIDE rated games. Yasser is a kind and patient teacher who helps chessplayers relax, quite unlike Bobby!

Another question that I have is at 38:48 black plays e5. It's not intuitively obvious to me why that move is played because after dxe5, dxe5, the queens see each other and why has Qxd8+, followed by Kxd8, which prevents black from castling.
