Great line, thanks! There are too many lines to crush the Pirc. I hope more players play the Pirc against me so I can try this variation.

Ive been so excited hanging found all these videos on your channel. I only knew about the chessbrahs and am a big fan of the 2 knights attack, and these gambit lines. I usually play the Austrian attack against the pirc and really liked your previous video on it. However when i saw pushing e5 leaving d4 hanging i was IN! Thanks a lot. Also i will be emailing you for a few lessons eventually.

Just won a game in this variation - very cool. It's also an interesting lesson in learning to co-ordinate the minor peices. You have to make sure that you don't drop anything due to double attacks by the queen!
@harrymills27702 жыл бұрын
I often overlook - from both sides - the potential for wreaking havoc with the queen. Recent study has really helped improve in that regard. The Qb3 or ... Qb6 move... The Queen check followed by the capture of the greedy Knight on e4 in Alapin (or Smith-Morra, Evans) setups. Easy to overlook, for me. The Qf3 move attacks the h1-a8 diagonal and pressures the Knight on f6.

I got to play the queen sac line for the first time today and had a blast + quick win with it. I like having an alternative to the Austrian Attack available too + something that can catch Modern players who transpose in. Thanks!

I was looking at Leela-Stockfish games from TCEC and look what masterpiece I found! www.tcec-chess.com/archive.html?season=18&div=sf&game=13 Leela came for this queen sac and guess what happened... Man this could be really serious line against the Pirc if white plays correctly. Lc0 just crushed Stockfish with her human-like play :D

Maybe I missed it but where is 6.e5 Ng4? Perfectly playable option instead of Nxd4 giving white exactly what he is booked up for. I have looked at these lines and please show me where you think white has a pull. Appreciate and great channel.
@MiodragPerunovicOfficial2 ай бұрын
Could be that I missed it, thanks. Although, as far as I remember, if any Sg4 f4 solves the problem of e5 pawn and threatens h3 followed by g4 to restrict the Ng4-Nh6… White had to be more perspective there

@@MiodragPerunovicOfficial So 1e4 d6 2. d4 Nf6 3. Nc3 g6 4. Bc4 Bg7 5. Qe2 Nc6 6. e5 Ng4 is my suggestion. Looks like whites best response is 7. Bb5 which is not so obvious when P-e6 is a more obvious response but really isn't that good after Nd4. Love your channel and keep up the great work. Regards, Dan

Great video, thank you very much ! But I miss the variation 5. ... e5 for Black. On club-level you find this move more often than 5. ... 0-0, which - in my opion - is a little bit dubios.

@@MiodragPerunovicOfficial 1. e4 d6 2. d4 Nf6 3. Nc3 g6 4. Bc4 Nxe4 with the idea of d5 fork. Not exactly in this move order though, normally bishop is already on g7, but the fork kinda stopped me from playing Bc4 in these types of positions. Qe2 was a new move for me, and definitely seems to prevent that.

@@MiodragPerunovicOfficial yes but i feel like black already has gotten hes counter play he loves nh6 nf5 next And white didn’t get the type of position he expected like bb5 castle Whitehas to take c6 cause d4 and e5 are hanging bc now again the center is crunbling c5 is a threat so u have to play h3 nh6 and black has very nice and easy play. In practical terms Always choose black in the resulting position because it’s so hard to play different opinion?
