Idea: Nature Chess Here are the 3 spawnables: 🌿Grass: just like how irl does to you, it traps the pieces 1 turn then vanishes.(It has a 20% to spread and a 17% chance to vanish) 🌳Tree: It blocks the chess pieces and it can grow almost everywhere when a tree spawns on a square with a piece, it will capture it(vanishes after 2 turns) 🪵Log: This will have a chance to be left by the tree when it vanished, it can fall at a piece and then confuse them(Vanishes after striking) Pieces: Grassy Pawn: it's movements and other things will not change, but it will spawn grass in front of it then exchanges for death Log Knight: it's movements are slightly slower than others and will spawn a log in front of it then nothing happens Tree Bishop: the bishop spawns trees in a 9x9 square except the one the piece is on then it dies Log Rook: the rook will throw logs then vanishes(after 3 uses) Grass Queen: the queen will summon a line of grass then vanishes(after 4 uses) Log King: the king will spawn a barrier made of logs to protect itself( vanishes after 3 uses) The forest is a new location that makes the pieces get lost. They will vanish after going in there(does not kill your piece, but you have to put it out then wait for 6 turns to return it) That's all

Land chess: (update) Pawn: now the pawn doesn’t have an ability. Knight: he can spawn a rock that he throws. Bishop: he can spawn a tree which falls onto the enemy piece that is in front of him Rook: he can spawn a big boulder on 2 squares. Queen: she can spawn two things: the boulder and an earthquake on a whole rank or file. King: he can spawn two rooks if he is being checked you can only do this ability if your rooks are dead because this would be unplayable and when those spawned rooks die he can spawn them again but they are bishops and those bishops die they turn into knights and then into pawns and then you can’t spawn them again. Also he can move 5 squares. This is an update that I wanted to be in chess! Wind Chess Things on squares: Wind: This is wind, whenever a piece goes on a square with wind, it goes and extra 2 squares from the opposite direction it originally came from. Dissapears after 2 moves. Cloud: This is a cloud. When it is spawned, it traveles from the left of the board coming to the right. Whatever piece is in the clouds way will be stunned. (Cant move for 2 turns but can be captured). When it reaches the right part of the board, it dissapears. Tornado: This Is A Tornado, When Placed, Wherever its origin spot was, it will circle around it like the king. Any piece in its way will be captured. Goes away after 1 full rotation. Hurricane: This is a hurricane, when placed, will be spawned at the middle of the board, it covers 3 squares vertically, and 3 squares horrizontally. Whatever piece goes into the hurricane, will not be let out before its gone, dissapears after 4 moves. Pieces Windy Pawn: this moves exactly like the normal pawn, but has the ability to spawn wind infront of it. It has a Duration of 1 use every 2 turns. Humid Knight: this moves like the normal knight, but can spawn wind in one place where it can move, including the full L shape, can only be used once every 2 moves. Cloudy Bishop: It moves like a normal bishop, but has the ability to spawn a cloud starting at the left side of the board, continuing to the right. Can only be used once every 4 moves. Tornado Rook: It moves like the normal rook, but can spawn A Tornado 2 Squares away from it in any direction, when done, cannot be moved in the next turn. Can only be used once every 5 moves. Hurricane Queen: This piece moves like the queen, but can only move like the queen and capture like the knight, it can also spawn a hurricane once every 8 moves. Airbender King: This King moves and captures the same, but can spawn any placeable wherever (unless its the cloud or hurricane) it wants, but only once every 10 moves. Thats it, i will make another idea on chesstraps newest video once it comes out, Anyway, bye!

Galaxy Chess: *PLACEABLES* Astronaut Spaceship Satellite Rock *PLACEABLE’S MOVES* Rocket: kills every piece that’s in its way in front of it. Astronaut: moves diagonally and can jump over 2 squares and kills whatever piece it lands on since astronauts explore space and the moon and the moon has low gravity and you can jump high so it kinda makes sense Spaceship: spreads rocks 1 square diagonally but only has a 20% chance of spreading and a 30% chance of dying. Satellite: can move in every square that a piece is standing on but it doesn’t kill the piece, instead it makes the piece lose a turn so it can’t move the the next time the other team moves, This can be very useful if your opponent only has a little amount of pieces. Rock: can capture any piece that moves in its place but disappears after any piece moves in the place but kills the piece that’s captured in it. *MOVES* Pawn: Can spawn a rock in front of itself but dies after doing it. Knight: Can spawn a spaceship 2 squares diagonally but only has 2 uses every round. Bishop: Can spawn an astronaut 2 squares in front of it. Rook: Can spawn a spaceship diagonally and horizontally but can’t spawn one behind him. Queen: Can spawn a rocket in front of it but can only do it after killing 3 pieces King: can spawn a satellite but only has 3 uses. *NOTES* Plz add this to one of ur vids 🥺

Hi Chess Traps! I like the update and the unique ability’s. So later on, this comment will have a new elemental chess variant that you may want to modify and add as a video. Earth chess: Abilitys: Hole: captures a piece but disappears on capture(disappears after 1 move) Tree: blockade. Can be captured. Mud: stops a piece that lands on it for one turn (stays for one turn) Pieces Earth Pawn: digs a hole to either side of the pawn. Only 2 uses Earth Knight: after moving, can plant a tree of the square it WAS standing on(can lead to some interesting anti-tactic tactics) Earth Bishop: similar to the lava bishop, makes a trail of mud on use Earth rook: plants mud on one dialognal square(+1 ability for each capture) Earth Queen: makes mud on either each diagnal square or a plus sign. (Once per game) Earth king: Dig hole on 2 dialoge squares from it(once per game) That’s all I really have for it.

how about Space Chess/Galaxy Chess with two pieces; Rocket and Astronaut. Rocket moves like a rook and a bishop but the upper moves. Also it can put fire on the board like in fire chess. Astronaut moves like a king but 2 more squares. the themed pieces are space themed and make voids in the squares they moved on. if any piece (except or maybe knight) moves to a void, it gets captured, but the voids are temporary and get filled in 5 moves. when a rocket gets captured, flames circle around the piece that captured it. For the Astronaut, its helmet gets left behind, if any pawn or other pieces goes to the square that the helmet is left behind, they become an Astronaut piece + the original moves. Edit: Also the rocket can be upgraded in 3 moves like in Chess Evolution

War chess all pieces have two or more life depending on what they are pawn 2 Knights 3 and so on when a piece captures an opponents piece it has a option to arrest or finish off the piece oh yeah there is weapons like muskets and flintlocks you can buy for coins which you get for capturing a piece you can buy items at anytime and give them to a piece pawns and knights can not arrest if a piece is arrested you put it in jail and if it is the first time it stays there for a few minutes 2nd time more minutes 3 time forever and the other pieces can break it out of jail if the piece is finished off it loses its stuff and a life if they are arrested they don’t lose stuff or life if you arrest the king 2 times it is a win if you checkmate him that’s also a win

Ice chess: Mechanics: Ice: When a piece lands on ice, it slides down the same path until there is no more ice. (knights go diagonally when hitting ice) This cannot make you capture a piece, you just stop in front of it. Frost: After being placed, it grows one space vertically and horizontally, dissappearing after 3 turns. When a piece enters or passes through mist, it becomes frozen for 3 turns, meaning it cannot move. Snow: Snow is like a piece that cannot move. You cannot pass it without capturing it. The pieces of same color as the placer can go through the same, but the snow in their path vanishes. Lasts 5 turns. Frostbite: Frostbite makes the effected piece shake and turn blue, before being captured 3 turns later. Broken Ice: If a piece falls onto broken ice in its path or where it lands, it goes onto another board called the Lowboard. There are ladders on the corners of the lowboard, 2 white and 2 black. Pieces can only access the main board through them if there are no pieces of the same color above and that ladder is the same color as the piece. Abilities: Snowstorm: Place a frost on a square not adjacent to a piece. Can only be used once per 5 turns. Freeze: Place ice on a tile of your choosing. Can only be used once per 3 turns. Pieces: Ice pawn: places ice on the tile it moves from. Can choose to place a frost on its attack squares, but be destroyed in the process. Ice knight: Can place a frost 2 squares away horizontally or vertically. Ice bishop: places ice in the path it moves in, with a 25% chance to be snow. Ice rook: When moving from ice, it turns into broken ice. Ice queen: When it takes a piece, snow appears on the path it took, but not when taking pawns. Also can turn all ice in one of its paths into broken ice once per game. Ice king: This one is arguably the most op, can choose to slide on ice or not. (E.g. King is on A1, ice on B2, C3, and D4. King moves to C3.) Special stuff: If a piece falls through a broken ice on the lowboard, it finds the boiler room and "defrosts" making it just a normal chess piece, but it is no longer effected by ice chess effects. It can also move one space horizontally or vertically from any space it could've gone to.

Succession chess, rules are the same except the following. 1) There is a line of succession for the king and queen. If the king is captured promote a rook to king and a pawn to rook. If the queen dies Promote a bishop to queen and a pawn to bishop. If there are no pawns, don’t promote any piece to bishop or rook. A pawn promotes to a knight when they reach the other side. A king castles with a knight instead a rook once per game by trading places. A queen may call upon a knight to move twice once per game. A knight can move one space diagonally to capture enemy or friendly pawn. If their is no bishop to promote to queen or no rook to promote to king when a king or queen dies, the other side wins.

Boating chess update, all chess pieces are on boats. Here are major differences…. 1) All the spaces are water spaces. 2) Players move at the same time. 3) Pawns when attacking can either stay in the same spot or capture the other piece (but making it a pawn). 4) If 2 pawns attack each other at the same time they both sink. 5) En passant is allowed, but the piece preforming en passant will move like a knight around the captured pawn. 6) Kinghts will drift an extra space in the direction the knight moved. 7) If 2 knights move or drift in each others path they sink, but will bounce if it’s another piece in their path moving or not moving . 8) A king may tug any other piece one space with them. 9) A queen can only capture if the piece is 2 plus spaces away. 10)A bishop may submerge and move to any neighboring one space at the cost of the next turn. Then will surface. 11) if a bishop surfaces and a piece is above it, the bishop sinks. 12) If two submerged bishops go into the same space, they both sink. 13) Rooks may not sink other rooks and dont move within 2 spaces of another rook. 14) Once enemy rooks are sunk, they promote to queens. 15) Rooks can tow the king.

Pawns can promote to rooks or bishops. If rooks have already been promoted to queens, the pawn must promote to a bishop. Bishops when surfacing will sink the king if the king is above them. If the queen dies and no other queens are on your side, you may promote a bishop to a queen.

Ideas for Ice Chess (please give me credit in the video if you get any idea from me!): Pieces have the ability to freeze squares and other pieces, and there is the 'Climate Change' special feature where the board is surrounded by a giant mass of ice and with this ability the player makes all of the ice adjacemt and around the enemy side of the board to melt and flood the edge of the enemy board, stunning all enemy pieces there (can only be done once a game)

Make air chess now. Idea of air chess. The pawn: the pawn makes air infornt of itself and dies becuase if you put your pawn on the air the air will think that it’s an enemy so it will die. The knight: the knight spawn an L air shape representing the movement of the knight. And once the air is now an L shape I will just go o the direction it’s facing. The bishop: the bishop releases air once again but it’s diagonal. It can be used once every 1 minute. The rook: the rook shoots air on the enemy’s and it dosent move becuase it literally an object. The king: the king shoots air everywhere he wants. But it can be only used after 3 minutes. The queen: the queen this the same thing as the king but can only choose 4 directions that means front back left or right. The background: the background is the chess platform floating on the clouds. You can even spawn a tornado to knock your enemy’s down. The enemy can also do that. The bonus: the bonus piece is called the swordsman. The swordsman can throw air to the enemy’s if they are close to each other NOW IM DONE WITH THE SUGGESTION! Not done :p THE AIRPLANES!!! The light airplane: the light airplane is weak and very not heavy. It shoots fireworks at the enemy’s so it splashes into the ocean. The medium airplane: the medium airplane can shoot rockets and it’s almost small as the light one. It is just bigger than it. The heavy airplane : the heavy airplane shoots small nukes at the water enemy’s. It’s bigger and heavier than the light and medium airplanes combined. The big airplane : the big airplane shoots out medium nukes at the enemy’s once again. When it crashes it land onto the enemy. The larger airplane: the larger airplane can shoots large nukes at the enemy’s. The bigger airplane: the bigger airplane shoots bigger nukes at the enemy’s. The titan airplane: the titan airplane can shoots jets that drop big nukes at the enemy’s. The giant airplane: the giant airplane can shoot giant jets that drop the same nukes but it’s very big. It shoots it at the enemy’s. The gigantic airplane: the gigantic airplane shoots gigantic jets to drop gigantic nukes at the enemy. The most biggest and gigantic airplane of all (FINAL ONE): the most biggest and gigantic airplane of all can shoots titanic jets to drop the smol TSAR bomb. It shoots at the enemy. NOW THATS IT!
