So you put the queen there out of respect for your opponent and respect for the association is moot since Carson showed a lack of respect for FIDE this week. If someone who was most likely your hero and is the biggest most influential person in chess. Made you into a cruel meme when you won the biggest game of your life with unfounded accusations and he couldn't be a big enough man to step up and retract them. Would you respect that person still?

Vidit is annoying -- anyone who meditates at the board is posing. Do your TM in your private VIP room. Also: Gukesh never Truly Defeated Ding; Gukesh only scored his two "wins" when Ding Liren was in time trouble and was flagged and blundered respectively. Ding, on the other hand, outplayed Gukesh in Games 1 and 12 -- forcing Gukesh to resign by playing superior chess. Gukesh will be a 1 time Champion.

Nah the kind slam was a silly petty move because he doesn't like the man he tried to ruin as a child. instead of just apologizing for the unfounded accusations he would rather act like a child. It seems to me that by accusing Hans of cheating, Magnus has put himself in a bad position now every time he plays Hans. He is expected to win because he is Magnus, and only stands everything to lose. You can tell that Magnus is nervous during these games: his hands are shaking, and he lets his emotions show far more than when playing other players. Always been a Magnus fan, but I think Hans now has a psychological advantage when they play.

There is one thing I never understood: Why on earth is it in chess that the players in tournaments always arrive so shortly before a game starts (or even sometimes come too late) ? In any other sports professional players arrive a few hours in advance to the place of a tournament (I am sure there are rules) and do their preparations there. Just imagine a player of a Basketball team rushing in 10 minutes after a game has started and straight beginning to play!

@@milosmilosmilos Hans beat Magnus with the black pieces in classical. It should have been the highlight of Hans' career. Instead of saying 'nice job kid' or even just saying nothing, Magnus had a diva temper tantrum and tried to ruin Hans' career over it. That's why. It was POS move by someone who's ego couldn't handle a loss. That's a MUCH bigger POS shit move than not putting the pieces back.

why doesn't hans take bishop at 31:31 and moves the rock ? someone explain pls
@unknown-unknown69
@unknown-unknown69 25 күн бұрын
As the engine suggests, white has an slight advantage, whatever black play, he can't play two moves in a row, take the bishop lose the rook, So he has to save the rook first But after that white can trade bishops...

IMO -> @32:42 BQ to B8 seemed more a forfeit than a blunder? Hans was down a pawn but there was still some game left.

Great video guys, could you maybe not do too much on the thumbnails though?? It feels childish and clickbaity which I think chess shouldn't be. Sometimes less is more.Otherwise great video

I think the main reason why magnus carlsen slammed the king was because of game 2. Hans won and got way too excited and did not clean up the board and just left. But in game 1, they both did. So magnus just had the last laugh because he won the whole match between both of them 😄

Hi I’m new to chess. Can someone explain me what is the bar next to the digital board that fills up or goes down each time the players play and press the clock? Also any tips on improving?? 😂😂

Evaluation bar. It's the chess engine calculating who has the strongest position every given move if the players played flawlessly. It basically comes down to who's winning.

As far I can see Hans was pretty polite in terms of fair-play ,either when he won or lost he didn't over-react with anything. I think that king slam on the ending was unnecessary indeed.Bad sportsmanship.

The king has to be put in the correct spot to sign that Hans lost. Hans not doing that is disrespectful

Do not mind people talking bs, if the players don't place the kings, the arbiter will and Hans didn't placed it even after winning, so it wasn't because he has lost.
