One person in the chess world whose chess knowledge is simply phenomenal is GM Emil Sutovsky. A top GM who once boasted an Elo of 2700, Emil is now the CEO of FIDE. We decided to test his knowledge with 15 questions! We made it in the format of Who Wants to be a Millionaire format. From US $100 to US $ 1 Million. IM Sagar Shah is the interviewer. I guessed Keres! Got some of the earlier ones. For the 15th question with Fischer, I knew about the telegraph tournament story - about why and how he had to do it - but did not know the interesting story. Good job Sagar, very rare questions.

Emil is too goid in chess trivia, he got struck on the junior, Georgia and Fischer at the Capablanca open questions...was quite surprised that he had to workout the answer for the 1st question...which he did with quite an ease....Thanks Sagar for the oppurtunity to be part of this.

Almost but not. Botvinnik defeated Capablanca but was held to a draw by Fischer. Botvinnik played only one game against Fischer.
