Yeah no human can win against an engine. I really wonder what kind of setup this cheater used. Auto playing bot? Self moves mixed in? Aman is a really strong GM, but nothing compared to stockfish. So there must be something off here. The engine never onces sucked all of the life out of Amans positions so it can't really be modern stockfish or Leela because when you play those you will find yourself having no moves to play whatsoever. Aman was kind of on an even level most of the time.
@FACTURE_LLC Жыл бұрын

@@Jartran72he was using another device where he manually implemented the moves, probably he used lichess stockfish (play against a computer or directly from analyze a game where you have max 5 arrows of suggestion each time) but like mostly cheaters when they are in time scramble they reveal how bad they are 😂
@bartholomewtheiiijr.386 Жыл бұрын
@@Jartran72Pretty sure it was using modern stockfish, but the cheater would decide at random times to play their own moves. You can tell cause the cheaters moves are blitzed out and when they're using an engine they take a lot longer. In the beginning amans position is basically always either squeezed to death so he doesn't have counterplay or he plays solidly, but the engine still builds up long term advantages. Most strong players can hold their own against an engine for a bit, just like how a national master can hold against a gm for a while, but eventually the human is crushed.
@donquixote8462 Жыл бұрын
@@Jartran72Dude just wasn't using it every move. And as you can tell, Aman himself noted that he was winning because he was unable to check the engine in time scrambles, so him beating the cheater doesn't indicate the strength of the engine he was using. Cheat detection algorithms look for constantly strong moves so, dude peppered in his own moves and simply wasn't able to use it in time scrambles, hence Aman was able to win some.

He is already two pieces up, meaning if Aman is down two pieces that quick he might at least have some attacking chances in exchange for that, and that he should start defending. Yet he snaps this pawn like it's nothing in half a second saying "yeah no nothing going on here". I didn't finish the video yet, but it's such a major tell, a very very computer-ish move. No human would do that, or at least not after a long time of reflection and calculation saying "yes I can take that there is no real attack going on".
@jetmanisme Жыл бұрын
It looks dangerous to pawn grab. Aman's pieces were getting active and the queen can't help defend when it's out of the action on a7. As such, any human would have to spend some time calculating before deciding that it's safe to take the pawn.

I'm around 2000. Usually when you are up significant material, typically, consolidation of the position takes precedence over "pawn grabbing". And opponent does it with haste and a queen no less. I tend to be careful in those kinds of scenarios even if I am up material. I sometimes lag behind in development after pawn grabbing and subsequently provide my opponent some counterplay potential with their piece activity.

it's honestly kinda logical-- aman's pawns on a4 and d4 are weak. so the black queen wants to be on a7. to get there, you can either go Qb6 and then Qa7 or Qb8 and then Qa7. Qb6 has the positive of hitting b4 but also white can play a5. It's more so the strategic decisions that the engine uses that are completely inhuman-- like aman pointed out, gxh5 opening up the kingside. black has queenside play and would never want to do that... unless black knows they are rock solid safe by calculating many moves ahead :p

White is up two pieces and hasn’t castled; grabbing pawns allows black to just complicate your position even further and makes it trickier to defend. 1:20 why is Qa7 a weird move? If black plays Ra8 white wins the bishop. Also 5:59 why is that a weird move? Sure there's the threat of white trapping the bishop but that requires dislodging the knight from f6 or white preemptively defending g4 by pushing h3.

@erdapfel300 Жыл бұрын
1:20 : Aman messed up early and was 2 pieces down. A general good rule of thumb is if you are down material, dont exchange pieces and attack to try and find a tactical mate. If youre up material, exchange everything safely and youll just win with more pieces in the endgame. This player, however, didnt hesitate for even one second, before taking that pawn on a7, without checking for any sorts of tricks or attacks whatsoever. A strong player would have normally checked what small chance Aman could have left to win the game and if he did, take that away. As the player was 2 pieces up, the best move is clearly not needed to easily win the game, but instead he found the best move and played it without hesitation. That is what made Aman so suspicious. As for 5:59 , this is a weird move for a different reason. It is just a very bad move to play at this high level. In fact, a player playing at this high level would never ever think of this move, as there is simply no good side to it. The move is simply losing, because the Bishop can get trapped, but Aman is too suspicious at this point and just believes there is more to it. (?) It is most likely that the player was toggling, meaning that he sometimes played a move himself, other than the best computer move, to lower his over all accuracy a little as to not get caught.

Don't worry, there is nothing wrong with Qxa7, it is even the best move in this situation. The reason it was suspicious, is because he didn't hesitate as to see whether there is any danger of Amans' last efforts to build an attack, while already 2 pieces behind. A normal very strong player would have either checked carefully, whether there is any danger, before playing a move like this, or just think "I don't need the best move here. I'll just play safe, denying any attack and easily winning after exchanging piece for piece and being left over with 2 more pieces in the endgame." But a high level player playing a move like this in an instant is either a maniac, or, as it turned out in this case, a cheater.
