Very happy for Fabi. He had a COVID scare at Tata when his manager tested positive. Even if he wasn't, he had to play the tournament without support - which, Fabi admitted, was stressful and wore him down. I don't chalk his performance at Tata against him: let's see what Fabi will be able to do going forward!

People always say Caruana's "bad" at blitz or whatever but he routinely, beautifully crushes strong players in it. He only shows some weakness against top players in blitz, but he's still beaten the likes of Magnus in OTB blitz and is still incredibly formidable. He is also still 2750 in blitz and has been 2800+ in blitz before, when he wouldve probably been between world 1-3
