"When Putin talks about Satan in the West, he's talking about me." 😂🤣 That's the most brilliant, yet dumbest, thing I've ever heard.

at 0:58 here (as a 1400) i woulda played Bc4+ instantly developing with tempo and then bringing the knight out after the fact - i’m just curious as to why you brought the knight out first? seems counter intuitive to me to block in the bishop, did you just not want him to tuck his king away further? or you’re just up a pawn so it doesn’t matter? or is there any particular reason? seems anti principle, or is it just simply an alternative and both are fine?

From what i understand in the king's Indian types of positions, white launches a pawn storm on black's king-side, while black does the same. Developing your bishop to c4 would get you another piece in the attack, but that is unnecessary when you already have pawns, a rook and a queen staring down the king. The bishop thus is given a crucial task of making sure that black's attack doesn't progress too much. Bc4, as Daniel Naroditsky would call it is a classic case of onemoveitis.

In a wide variety of opening positions it is smart to develop the knight first if the square it belongs on is obvious but you want to see what your opponent wants to do before committing to where you think your bishop is best developed.
