The most amazing moment of watching Agad's video is when you find a move in a pause video moments without actually pausing it lol

very true.

I never pause the video just think for a couple of seconds what I would do instinctively without calculating too much and I actually manage to find/guess the move quite a lot. Sometimes they're pretty obvious too and sometimes I'm completely oblivious how to win the position.

Props to Irina for allowing mate to occur on the board. That really shows her love for the game as when your opponent plays such a beautiful game, you can't help but marvel at it's beauty, even at the cost of getting Krushed.
@tunahankaratay15233 жыл бұрын
Maybe it's because she didn't want this to be a miniature (games that are won in 25 or less moves are considered miniatures, this is 26)

Great video as always. Was interesting to see some different analysis than what she provided in her video. I am glad you plugged her video as well. Highly suggest watching it. She gives some more insight into the opening and her familiarity with it. And of course, she shares some of her thought process in some positions. There was also another move Irina could have played at the end Qg7 but the same response would have happened, Qe5.

Now we can see perhaps why the classical Sicilian defense is only 3rd most popular. Brilliant idea to make a mess of black's pawn structure on both sides of the board. As Agad showed, things went down hill quickly from that point. Amazing game, but could have used a slow motion moment in there to make white's sacrificial offerings shine.

Can anyone explain to me, one variation not covered in the position where white forks the queen and bishop with Knight E4 at 5:45, why can’t black play queen E7 declining the pawn and defending the bishop? Seemed like a logical move to me, and black can push pawn f6 if white doubles up on the H file with a move like Qh5 to threaten mate and defend the h7 pawn… just a line I noticed and I’m not sure why it wouldn’t work
