I love Linkin Park. I don't care how many times they change their sound I will always love them. With that said, I am so sick of people damn near demanding they make an album exactly like the one they made 10-15 years ago. People change. People's taste in music change. Just think about it.. Are you the same person you were 15 years ago? I didn't think so. Just let them do what they do best and if you still aren't satisfied after that, then just find another band that will satisfy you. Looking forward to this album! I love everything that comes from this band, and it's hard to get bored of them because they always have a NEW sound. A Thousands Suns is their best album by far because it was so unique and it told a story from beginning to end. Based on The Hunting Party's track list, I'd say this is a concept album too. Hope it is, love the stories you tell through music Linkin Park.

I love how Chester was making fun of everything and Mike laughed at it. It makes me feel like they're not even friends or coworkers. Linkin Park.. I really cannot wait. I go to bed.. and I'm afraid I won't ever wake up. I deal with pain all over my body (fibromyalgia) and I feel it may be something else, something serious. I have been getting a lot of recent and sudden headaches the doctors won't bother with a CT or MRI because it's too expensive. I get light headed, and feel like something's about to burst in my head. Your music has kept me going and made me want to live. I hope I get to hear THP and something doesn't happen to me. I know I sound like an idiot, but I haven't been feeling too well at all the last few weeks (eyes droopier than normal, sudden bouts of dizziness, migraines 4-5 times a week) and the doctors have no clue what's going on. I will be happiest person on the planet to hear this album before something happens. June 17th can't come any sooner. I've had the pleasure of seeing you guys in concert 3 times in my life. One in Long Beach in 2004 for your Meteora world tour, and twice in 2012 (Club Nokia, and Chula Vista). I screamed loud and Mike looked at me and said, "You guys are making some fucking noise tonight!" I didn't have enough money in time for this tour, so the album will have to do and will be more than enough. Thank you guys for making the music that you do, and know there are fans that truly appreciate your work and have been here from the beginning. I hope I get to meet you guys someday and shake your hands and get your autographs.

This could be my story, all over. I don't worry too much that what I have may be fatal (I've seen enough consultants in my time to reassure me of that, lol), but I too have Fibromyalgia and violent migraines which the doctors will do nothing about. This week alone I've spent 5 days in bed with migraines and losing consciousness . . . but when I *am* feeling okay, then LP is one of the few things that will always cheer me up. I swear I will struggle to get to a concert next time if it kills me, but like you, that ain't easy! I hope you start feeling better. Even if your doctors won't investigate further you sometimes get surprising remissions for a while. I know most of this isn't relevent to the video except the part about Linkin Park being one of the high points of our lives, but I wanted to let you know you're not alone.

I do not have an health problem, but on a period of my life (this is happening now too) that i was depressed, but listen LP's song make me feel so much better. I feel like they understand me and is trying to help me.. I know is silly but that's how i feel. Why does everyone say their new albums were pop. They were nothing like pop. Yeah sure they were electronic but there is a huge difference between electronic and pop. They might not have many guitar sections, but mostly, there was still Chester's classic screaming, It might not have been all the time but it was nice to hear him sing in a song than just growl. Is everyone forgetting, these guys aren't just coming into being an adult and writing songs about teenage break ups any more. They wanted to try something different. And anyway if a band makes the same old music all the time, it will get boring very quickly. So stop acting like teenagers, grow up and get on with your life. If you class yourself as true fans of LP and yet you're complaining about every two minutes. STFU, and go listen to other bands.

There was absolutely pop in their last couple of albums. Big soaring melodies over electronic instrumentals are very definitely pop. But hey, Linkin Park is a rock/rap/EDM/punk/pop/grunge/metal band, they can do whatever they want. Nothing wrong with some pop elements.

Dewster Hobnobbington That was my only problem with Meteor a. Don't get me wrong, that's my favourite album of theirs, but almost every song had screaming in it. That's why I think Numb is so good at the end. It gave people a chance to realise that Chester is actually a damn good singer.

I'm glad you guys agree. I'm getting pissed off at people saying their musics bad as well. I can remember watching an interview with Mike where he said that they never really wanted to be a Nu metal band. All they wanted to do was make music and not really have a genre. I know this is going to sound weird but it's almost the same thing that Oasis did. They never really wanted to be Britpop, they just wanted to make music and for people to like that music. That's why I love Linkin Park because they make music I like and they are always changing.

Wow! I can't believe there is so much hate for their last few albums...they are still all young and there is nothing wrong with trying different sounds and keeping it fresh.so many bands and artists keep their same look,same sound for years and you know what happens ? They fade into the blackness...people forget about them cause there is so much music out there these days that sound so alike . Linkin Park keeps people on their toes and I think explores their creative sides. They aren't afraid to go there. I can't wait for the new album and I'm buying it great or not...I know its Linkin Park and I love whatever they put out cause I know they put there all into it.

EXACTLY. I don't even have anything to add rather than this comment, coz I agree to each word. Uts exactly how i feel, n always been feeling. But ppl tend to think bands,artists Serve them.. no! Linkin park as any other band btw For Real connects with their fans, n community, and really cares about them! But, if they would keep making same old sound, which they are not excited about, then they would be lying to fans, n themselves basically. So what those ppl prefer? Hypocrisy or honest broad creativity new sounds and concepts? I guess some ppl just get stuck in a way of creativity themselves, and their taste in music ,or any other art just stagnates. And its fine, for them.. But LP create music n art for themselves first, as each of them is open minded person, in different ways, and they have never been sell out even for a second. If they would keep doing hybrid theory style or meteora (which I also still absolutely love btw! ) just coz its convenient and generates money, well, I know I would loose interest eventually, and they would never be actually linkin park. Coz ppl don't even think that their first name was Xero but then Hybrid theory, which is whole idea n philosophy of the band. Making new, exciting, unlike anyones music, and becoming literally its own thing, its own "genre". Or better own approach, and open minded , honest vision , rather than from genre perspective.. Ookay! I wrote so much, after saying I have nothing to add. Lol. But its LP, something I care so much about, that it came naturally to me. Take care out there!

Mike makes songs with the same format as LP but just keeps it to rap. True meanings to songs is something that rap and Hip-Hop haven't had for a long time.

This will be a punk oriented album. Although I will listen to it from beginning to the end, but there will hardly be another "Nu Metal" album, thus I'm not really following their stuff since 2008. Their old material was cool at the time it was released. Nowadays it's a usual pehonmenon so LP could not be unique this way. EDM looks the same so, they are in such a problematic situation, no matter what they have gone poppy. I have no idea what's so special about making 10,5 BPM songs.

Lol, how on earth dont they simply realise that they "Need" to go back to the old style, the last 2 albums are not bad at all, but lets be honest, the first 3 in my opinion completely kick ass. i know minutes to midnight is different from first two, but still it was really really good. every fan of them loves what they did at first, they would be stupid not to repeat it..i even fear their words about "moving to EDM or pop" lol, that shouldnt even be an option

I've only listened to Linkin Park since 2011 was hooked on only a few songs, but after a certain amount of time I began exploring their albums and found new favorites. Then I bought ATS the same year as I began listening to LP, I listened to ATS all the way through without skipping a song. It was awesome and it's still awesome. And then, one by one I began buying the rest of the albums. I currently have 5/6 studio albums (still waiting for THP to be released), and I love all their songs :) I'm already hooked on ''Guilty All The Same'' and ''Until It's Gone'', and they're currently my favorite songs of the new album. I love how they challenge their fanbase

ATS is by far their best album. In terms of individual songs, ones that you can like dance to and shit, then no, HT or Meteora would be better. But emotionally, lyrically, and atmospherically if that's even a word, ATS is like perfect. It's an experience, and the way you have to listen to it is exactly like you did, back-to-back.
