A few corrections: The rmTw (Ancient Egyptians) had multiple religions in different regions within the society. They didn't just believe in a single religion. Ra worshippers were not Amunists who were not Wsr-Trilogy worshippers, etc. What can be concluded is that the rmTw were RELIGIOUS TOLERENT and consisted of multiple, related religions in the civilization from within defined borders of the Nile. The biggest misnomer is calling it "Egypt" because the entire civilization did not worship Ptah, either, as the Greek Aigyptos derives from one temple name Hwt-ka-Ptah (Temple of the soul of Ptah). They had different rulers who elevated different deities over others when they ruled but were not forcing (for the most part) others to convert to the ruling class's preferred temple/religion. I.e. the Rameseid deity elevated Ra and Setekh (Set) of the 19th and 20th Dynasties, but the 18th Dynasty were Amunites (and Atenists under Akhenaten (who incidentally was 1 noted oppressor of other non-solar religions within Kemet. He was oppressive and that likely resulted in his & Nefertiti's disappearance. Akhenaten began the building of Karnak so he was building his own temples including the city of Amarna - his moving the capital to this new city - that had the temple of Aten. So, he continued the temple-building and oriented civilization but was the first documented to close non-solar deity temples that existed under other rulers past and present.)). The ruler's title is Nswt Bity / Nswt / Bity, not Per Aa (great house = royal family) / Pharaoh. Per Aa arose among the Libyan dynasty in Kemet and IS a local dynasty term because Libyans were North and West Africans in Kemet. So the Greeks adopted a term dating back before Asiatic conquests and before Kushitic rulers but not as old as the New Kingdom. Kemet was not a slave economy but they did document captives and they had contracted forced labor for short durations that were documented in contracts and mostly dealt with immigrants who were required to work and live and certain quarters but could also sub-contract substitute laborers and have permission not to work on certain days. So more similar to serfdom and even comparable to modern management of immigration in the US.

🤔 The Coptic Christian Egyptians are an entire school of Christianity that celebrate Jesus, Mary and Joseph’s pilgrimage to Egypt during Jesus’ childhood. They also happen to be the only ones preserving the language of the ancient Egyptians. I’m pretty sure the Bible actually states Jesus did travel to Egypt - Matthew 2: 13-23 “an angel appeared to Joseph in a dream, telling him to “take the young child and his mother and flee to Egypt”” - and then it basically jumps to adulthood. So Jesus definitely spent formative years in Egypt, even according to the King James Bible. Great discussion about Egyptian theology still.
