Thanks so much for uploading this satisfying example of a good old fashioned radio play. Despite the smug sounding,very actressy main female character, it was still a compellingly well told ghost story.

she’s right, they do always blame the woman for being “barren,” when maybe the man is shooting blanks

When I was a nursing student, this awful man got mad at his wife for not having a boy! I couldn’t stop myself and said, “you know it’s the father that determines the sex of a child, not Mom!! They had 4 or 5 other children and he knew NOTHING! That was over 30 years ago and I’m still mad 😡
@Jen-cc9xk3 жыл бұрын
@@darlyswynn5594 lots of people still don't know that. I suspect men of a conspiracy to keep it quiet. Much easier the blame the woman, lol.

Just like Henry VIII blamed all his wives (and how many mistresses?) for not bearing him a healthy male heir

A very good reason not to buy a house (while having marital issues) if the house has strange smells, disturbed neighbours, artists, and umm...other issues. Unless of course you want things to go orribly wrong....great fun hearing this lot doing it! Takes my mind of my house purchase...

Many dead today frozen in Texas and other states due to power outage Solar panels windmills frozen solid solar power can not be stored. A historic artic cold front never before seen in these states plus huge snowfall. Millions without any power. As usual the innocent are paying with their lives and not the guilty with lies on climate change and green energy. I doubt you would love those solar panels if your family was snow bound many never seeing snow before no way to get out were dead frozen to death from the utter failure and lies of a political agenda. It can happen what ever part of the world you live in. A real horror story.

Brilliant I didn’t notice them 😂😂😂
@Paxtonparsnip3 жыл бұрын
@@dannygrant4603 well spotted! I assumed they were something to do with a discrete marijuana factory operated by an imprisoned illegitimate son with the help of a mad relative. An aunt? Or an intriguing aquarium. I just love these dramas! It’s that or still opening the front door and looking at Brooklyn again wearing masks (or ignoring masks) and thinking bugger! Nothing new! Back to bed and the radio!

Modern ghost story. Couple buy country house despite the horrible smell.

I don’t think you need to buy a country house. To suddenly discover mysterious and horrible smells. And hideous histories, and dire warnings. And mental breakdowns. Buy any house!

Was it about a secret stash of porn mags at Ian's office? Think it must've been a plot device to show that because he was falling about laughing, he completely ignored his wife trying to tell him about the book and the scary history of the house.
