Great interview--a real treat to listen to. My wife and I literally bumped into Chet Baker going down the stairs to enter a small club in Saratoga, CA, the Club Le Boheme, in 1984. Sadly, Baker looked like the ''Portrait of Dorian Gray". Life had taken its toll on him by that point. But, he put on a great show playing trumpet, guitar, drums, and, of course, singing. Seeing him in person was a truly unique experience that I will always remember.

@brodog5629-From researching his life, his addiction and his many unmanageable behaviors really wrecked havoc in his relationships with wives and girlfriends, his children, finances and his career and his physical health.i am in recovery since 90 and after I found out about his dark life; I cried hard. Its a warning what the whole lifestyle of addiction can do if you don't recover.Too bad he didn't ask for help.😢
