Being humble and owning the mishaps in this process is so authentic, I love it.

I was living in the UK and watched the GB Bake Off when Chetna made this. I remember she blew away the judges and really announced herself as a fierce baker with an incredible palette. What an amazing series that was 😋

Chetna, it is a pleasure to watch you work. This cake contains two of my favorite things: coffee and cardamom. I can't wait to try it. Thank you so much for the recipe.

Looks perfectly delicious! I imagine that you could add different or more spices easily. I love rewatching the GBBO and even bought some of the master class videos. These bakers make things look so easy, even when they're obviously very nervous and under pressure during the show.

This recipe made such an impression on me when I saw in on gbbo. I loved her from the moment she made this cake (which was the first episode in that series I think) and because she had the same orange all-stars as I do. Love this cake, yummm! 😍🙋🏻♀️

I wish you had incorporated the pistachios more than just as a decoration . Maybe ground up and added to the cake batter?

U brits always say castor sugar and I scratch my head to me it is just regular white sugar (dominos).
@christianhansen32923 жыл бұрын
or granulated.
@fitrahgolden3 жыл бұрын
No, it's finer than regular granulated sugar. If you have a food processor, you can grind regular sugar to make castor sugar.
@SandraNLN3 жыл бұрын
Finer than regular (granulated) sugar, but not as fine as icing (powder) sugar
