Very good video. What socket size did you use for the retaining nut?

in the video the guy said the spindle nut was is a 50 I wonder if that was a UK royal measurement as it only needed a 31mm six-point shallow socket 1/2" drive with my trusty 36" breaker bar, to remove the hub assembly but sadly the hub was rusted to the brake drum so using a generous amount of PB Blaster penetrating oil & 2, 2" X 6" wood boards I put the lugs back onto the lug studs to protect the stud threads then used my 23oz ball-peen hammer I was able to separate the drum from the hub bearing assembly. An easy way to keep them from rusting together paint the hub drum mating surfaces then they won't re-rust themselves back together.

Thanks for your insights Jerry, I am sure it is considered good information, I used a size 30mm socket on a breaker bar to remove the nut. 1:46

If you have oil on your rear fenders, your rear bearings are leaking. That's how I found out they need replaced. My car seems to be loud to me, so I didn't notice the roaring wheels. My Dad was a mechanic and worked for SKF bearing manufacturer.

Man what happened to the good old days where you can Greece your own wheel bearings

I remember those days, now it is all sealed up as 1 unit.

the Auto companies learned from Ford Motor co. there's more money in replacement parts than hoping you'll take your car to a dealership to be serviced.

What year Aveo? This title should be edited to reflect since some older models are not this easy.

I have 2005 aveo but, with rear bearing installed into the brake drum... It's impossible, inmy case, to remove the drum without bearing getting damaged (split into 2) So frustrating....
