Wowww I've listened to this band for years and years since I was a teenager, and today I just wanted to look for this song's video, I was so curious, I love this song, and then I found this, I'm impressed. I've got no words to express how much more I admire this band, they sound amazing in this live version. I would've loved to see them live!! ❤

If you like Chevelle, you gotta see them live, it's a great show, I've seen them many times and they get better and better. Some bands don't even sound as good as their albums, somehow they sound even better live.

the best part is the end, with the ooh's and pete saying "could this be the one". i keep replaying that part.

I love that Pete's voice sounds just as awesome live as it does on the cds, not many singers are like that

Good God, I love this song! I fee like I'm in the minority here but I think Dean does a great job with the backing vocals. Maybe just me though.

Few people consciously realize that Chevelle is one of the VERY VERY few (as a matter of fact I can't think of another) that does not rhyme lyrics. Great rock -- they embody what 'rock' means.

Hmm - he's actually one of the few frontmen that sounds perfectly identical live as he does on an album. That to me is the mark of a good band.

@MsWhoThisBe yeah, Chevelle is great. I've seen them in three different settings. I'd have to say the best is a small theatre-type location. I'm sure you'll get that at the Metro. Glad you get to see them, and hope you get a chance to meet the guys!

@MsWhoThisBe If you try to meet them, then you should be able to. I've only met one of them (Pete) during one show. I waited outside an alley at a path that looked like the only way I'd catch them. Pete walked out to my amazement because I was just about to leave, haha. He could bairly talk. They were the headline for that particular show and afterwards he was really tired.

I would have thougth that the band's level would have gone down after one of the bros left the band, but I gotta say that it seems as they've actually become better. The guy's singing is amazing.

im not much of a person for classifying music to much but so ill just say this music is a way of expression so if the singers are individually christian then that will be reflected in what they sing however personally i really couldnt care less what a band is so long as the music is actually good

@RussianAssassin21 While I don't think they're total garbage, you're right that there's no comparison...the only thing in common is the Mesa/PRS combo. Still, the tone is very different. Nickleback writes (at least these days) commercial sleaze rock, and Chevelle writes very intelligent lyrical metaphors.
@FyreNail216 жыл бұрын
I know! Wish I could write as good as him
@blakebixler16 жыл бұрын
ok lets settle this bassist deal now: 1) Joe was a good basist, but he didnt have feeling in his performance 2)Dean is also a great basist, the reason he cant sing well is because all songs except from Vena Sera were made in Joe's vocal range not Deans, listen to the backup vocals on humanoid to really hear Dean. CHEVELLE WAS GOOD THEN AND IS GOOD NOW! GET OVER IT!
@avefrenix16 жыл бұрын

the reason he singing on this is kind of bad is because every song besides all on Vena Sera were made with Joe's vocals. He had to sing like that so it would sound like the version the crowd wants to hear
