Experience Chevelle's journey from their humble beginnings in Grayslake, Illinois, to becoming one of rock's most iconic bands. Brothers Pete and Sam Loeffler started playing music together, drawing inspiration from their musically adept family. They formed Chevelle with bassist Matt Scott, later joined by their younger brother Joe, whose talent quickly became undeniable.
Initially labeled as a Christian band due to their record label's affiliations, Chevelle pushed back against this stereotype, focusing instead on their unique sound. Their second album, "Wonder What's Next," propelled them to stardom with hits like "The Red" and "Send The Pain Below," solidifying their place in the rock scene.
Despite lineup changes and industry challenges, Chevelle continued to innovate, delivering albums like "Vena Sera" and "Sci-Fi Crimes," showcasing their raw, unapologetic sound. Their dedication to their craft and refusal to conform to industry norms set them apart, earning them a dedicated fan base.
With new music on the horizon and a legacy of powerful, introspective rock, Chevelle remains a force to be reckoned with. Stay tuned for updates on their upcoming album and join the journey of one of rock's most enduring bands.

About a year and a half ago on the way back from Chicago to Texas saw these guys on our flight. After the flight they were hanging out a bit by the gate so I thanked them for making awesome music and was gonna be on my way. They struck up an entire conversation with us and were asking lots of questions and even remembered the venue in our city! Really nice dudes.

Chevelle is my favourite band since Wonder What's Next. After getting exhausted with the exposure Linkin Park had during the early 2000s, Chevelle came around and they became a breath of fresh air. Since then, I never missed out on a new Chevelle album. Also, knowing that they are gearheads and naming the band after my favourite muscle car is so cool.

I met them once, when they were driving through my small town when i worked at safeway in highschool. Thier bus had "We're Lost" on the front of thw bus like where they were going. I met thw stage manager, tour manager, 2 members and had the dopest hangout ever. Cliffs notes, i watched their little grill while the manager went to the hotel to get the band t p meet, and we drank red wine and coke, talked about music, and at one point i yanked a magazine insert from metal edge mag and the two signed it. Then we sang one the members girlfriend a song from the eagles into a cell phone. This would be in either 02 or o3

I was lucky enough to meet Pete and Joe, when he was in the band in 2002 and 2004. They stopped in to do an interview at 102.1 The Edge in Toronto and I met them in 2002, when they opened for Stone Sour and in 2004, when they were doing promo for This Type Of Thinking (Could Do Us In). When I met them in 2004, they remembered me from when I had met them in 2002 and Pete actually let me know the last 3 songs on This Type Of Thinking, as they weren't listed on the CD, when someone read the song titles out to me. Also, I had mentioned the Tool comparison to Pete in 2002 and he didn't seem to mind all that much. I even talked about the guitar tunings from album to album and I wonder if that may have made me stand out to them, besides the fact that I am blind and kinda small.

Seen them live 3 times. Not gonna lie, they don’t have much stage presence but I just love how they make what sounds to me like laidback hard rock, if that makes sense lol. It’s soothing but heavy at the same time. Pete always has simple yet effective riffs. His vocal melody on Letter From A Thief is out of this world. But that’s just one example. I also like his lyrics, as they can be very mysterious which leaves it wide open for you to decide what you want the song to be about.

I remember this guy in high school telling me Chevelle was nothing more than a Tool clone and I was like "Bro, WTF are you talking about?! Are you serious?" As a music nerd that plays multiple instruments, I was so offended for them, especially considering Chevelle's unique style and sound. Chevelle is nothing like Tool, musically, stylistically, or lyrically. In fact, Chevelle completely stood out compared to other rock bands at that time, as mentioned in the video.

It's cool how we both saw Alice in Chains for the first time the same year! Around that time, they've had their fair share of interesting openers, and it's not surprising that Chevelle happened to be one of them. I first got into Chevelle back in 2004 when their song "Vitamin R (Leading Us Along)" got big, and hearing that Steve Albini took a chance on them when they debuted made me appreciate their craft more. Glad they're still out there!

Breach birth being about american idol makes sense, and also makes sense that it resonates with me, being an avid naysayer of singing competition shows…

Loved Chevelle since probably 2002 when I heard them in one of those sample cassettes that was free with Korn’s Untouchables that a friend of mine gifted me.

I thought the Red was a Tool song for several years. I then got into Chevelle a little deeper and really enjoyed their albums.

Great video. Chevelle is one of my all time favorite bands. I never miss a show when they come to my town and have learned all the bass lines. Not all that difficult but fun to play. I really wish Dean would have stayed with the band. The guy is amazing

I seen Chevelle at a smaller venue in NY years ago and it was the best concert I've ever been to.

Dang I didn’t know they had a new album ready to go. Very excited. The last one felt like a breath of fresh air.

I saw them at Birch Hill in Old Bridge, NJ when I was picking up tickets for an upcoming show my band was playing. Mike from Concerts East let me stay to watch them. They were really tight.
