Chevelle Quarter Panel Replacement!!!

In today’s video we begin replacement on the driver side quarter panel in the Chevelle!! We replaced this panel ince before, but due to an extreme lack of experience, we ended up with a far from perfect fit. With this being our second attemot and with a little more experience, were hoping things turn out better. We’re getting one step closer every day to get back into racing for this bracket season!!

Did all new sheetmetal on my 71 Malibu but now going to stretch the rear wheel openings so the tires can be removed easier.

That’s what someone had done to this one. That’s one of the big reasons we replaced the quarters

I did this myself back in December but still can’t get it straight, from warping to cutting it in a bad spot i don’t know if i’ll ever get it to look right again

You’ll get it brother! Just take your time, and be patient. There will be a lot of body work involved but you’ll get it. This was my second time doing this exact one before I got the fit I wanted. Let us know if we can offer any pointers or anything. We aren’t pros, but we’re willing to help.

I’m about to be doing a replacement for both rear quarter panels on my 1972 Buick GS. Not looking forward to it at all.

It’s not too bad man. You can definitely handle it. Just go slow and make small cuts. You got it 💪🏻also won’t hurt to do one at the time so you can compare the replacement to the original!
