It's just Pete (Singer and Guitar) and Sam (Drums) now. Joe, their brother used to play bass. Then Dean their brother-in-law played bass. Now it's just the two of them and they have a touring bass player.

I really liked So Long, Mother Earth from this album. Hadn't listened to Chevelle in like a decade then saw Geebz react to that song and I was hooked.

CheVelle is so underrated. The bass parts on this album were done by Pete (singer and guitarist) because their brother-in-law left the band. They play everything from emotional to heavy. Please check out “So Long, Mother Earth.”

So I saw them at Welcome to Rockville in Daytona in May. I’m old enough to have been there for the beginning back in the late 90s, early 2000s. Saw them at Ozzfest 2003 and I always thought they were meh… lost track of em shortly after that. Could not believe how good they were in May. They absolutely blew me away with some of the newer stuff. Currently digging back through the last two decades with them and of all those bands in that era, none have progressed more than Chevelle. Truly a band that is still getting better 25 years in and that is a rare club to be in. Hope they come back round here soon, I’ll definitely buy the ticket.

The North Corridor album had a lot of good, heavy songs like "Joyride" and "Door to Door Cannibals". Highly recommended 👌

Closure, Grab Thy Hand, Family System, Still Running, Another Know it All, Roswell's Spell, The Fad, Fizgig, Joyride, Hunter Eats Hunter and Mars Simula... any of these in no order.. will keep you rocking out for a while..

They don't show the bassist as their current bassist is only there for tours. So they are a two piece in the studio and 3 piece on stage. This is the second time they have only had a touring bassist since they were founded
