Thanks guys, I just had problem with my radiator fan that wouldn't turn off on my Cruze 2013 and I looked up online and other people had the same problem. This morning my battery was dead because it looks like the fan relay was stuck or something... I had honestly no clue where to start, but your video got me to where I needed. Got the 2nd relay out and the fan finally stopped! I'll just have to get a relay to replace it.

i have a situation. My relay load circuit is good but my control circuit does not reach ground. i tested the relay for continuity on load circuit and using alligator clips to a 12 v battery on control circuit and it is good. where can i bypass the control circuit to reach ground? this is on a car by the way. any comments and suggestion ?

Wire it directly to a switch inside and control it manually.

Hi if any of those fuses are bad would it cause the fan motor to go on and off a lot? Thank you if you can answer this. I have a 2016 cruze limited

You probably need to replace the cooling fan assembly. The resistor most likely is bad and it sends bad signals to the computer.

first off the cooling fan motor has an open circuit internally, it is a multi speed fan and both legs are inoperative. there is a low speed and a high speed circuit going to the fan, the engine computer will turn on the speed it needs depending on temperature an or ac operation. this is the primary issue the car has, the fan would take care of the overheating at slow vehicle speeds and or sitting still and of course would allow the air conditioning to function at slow speeds as well. Hope this info helps you.
