I bought a 1980 elcamino about a year ago for $500 it's one of those elcos that has been abused and never taken care of but ill i bought for is daily driving work car i never plan restoring it

I'm planning on doing the same except it's gonna be my first project car of my life a 350 with a nice cam,, swapped in maybe some 17 or 18 inch cragers. I want oem color and am not going for power the cam is for sound and for a learning experience. Glad to have a awesome step dad to teach me.

I'm surprised Chevrolet doesnt bring back el camino. Consider the past 15 years or so a large population of north Americans are buying half ton trucks just to drive now hall around. So el caminos and muscle el caminos I think would sell great again
