Thank you so much for this video. I have a 5 button fob for my 2012 Equinox. Three of the buttons had fallen out including the one to unlock the car. When I used the key to open the car, the alarm would start to go off. I then had to turn the ignition on to stop the alarm even if I wasn't ready to enter the car. I found my other original fob collecting dust after 11 years. Of course, the battery was dead. After watching your video, I walked to a CVS a block away from my home to purchase a CR2032. It took me longer to switch my keys from fob to fob than it did to change out the battery. I now have a "brand new" fob with all 5 buttons in place and working. Thanks again.
