Chevrolet Impala - FUEL PUMP FUSE AND RELAY LOCATION (2006 - 2016)

Chevy Impala not starting or no power coming to the fuel pump? In this short video I am showing fuel pump fuse location, fuel pump relay location and fuel system control module fuse location. ( 2007 | 2008 | 2009 | 2010 | 2011 | 2012 | 2013 | 2014 | PPV | SSV | LS | LT | LTZ ).
All of the above mentioned fuses and relays are located in the main fuse box under the front hood. Watch the video for the exact location of each fuel fuse and relay.

Do any of those fuses work towards the fuel gauge not working

no not really. Fuel gauge not working is usually failed fuel level sending unit

Fuel pump drains the battery. I replaced the relay and still the fuel pump runs when I plug in the relay and the car is off. Not sure where it is getting power.

It could be the problem with the fuel pump itself if it shorted out or has some kind of electrical problem

Hopefully, this is late and you have the problem fixed, but figured i'd put this on the record. most fuel pumps get their power from run and start wires coming from the ignition switch, but a functioning (in tank, diaphragm type) fuel pump has a check valve that should maintain fuel pressure for several days without the pump needing to run again (assuming that the injection system has not taken in the fuel and caused a reduction in pressure. anyway, everything goes through the powertrain/engine control modules these days, and it is possible that the pump will run by default any time the ecm/pcm recognizes that it has just had power reconnected. my point is that the pump should only run for a short time if its internal check valve is working, regardless of whether it is receiving power from run/ start/ or battery +12, a.k.a. HOT AT ALL TIMES. i realized this after buying the electrical diagram for a lincoln navigator. the fuel pump would run for way too long every time i'd reconnect the battery after having it disconnected, or any time that I replaced any of the fuses or relays supplying power to the fuel system . I ended up replkacing the fuel pump, and it would still run when i'd put the fuel pump relay back in or reconnect the battery, but it would only run a couple seconds and then it would maintain its pressure. anyhow, I hope you, or maybe someone else finds this useful.

This is not accurate on a 2014 Impala ltz limited. There's no fuse or marking for a fuel pump fuse as this video indicates. They relay states vacuum/pump and no fuel pump relay anywhere........so I'm still looking as to where it is

Did you ever find the fuel pump relay? Cuz you are correct there isn't one where this guy said there was on the video for the 2014 Impala LIMITED LTZ

@@JBLakers ..... I called the dealership to see if they could help me out on locating the relay. They couldn't help me but after research I come to find out that the limited Impalas don't have any fuse or relays.

Be ware 2012’ and up don’t use the same spots for fuses.
