As a Mopar enthusiast and Mopar hooptie connoisseur. The pealing paint on the upper radiator support and just the way it’s painted in general tells me without doubt the support has been replaced. Whichever and whatever accident that things been in was probably a lot worse then the carfax leads us to believe. The damage is usually pretty nasty when that upper support needs to be replaced. Hopefully you get lucky and the frame is still in good shape.

They were all taken care of. The guy who owned this just did not care.

I agree with you. I also take meticulous care of my vehicles. I purchased a second vehicle (99 Buick) to save fuel on my 90 mile daily commute, but even it is strictly serviced and kept in tip-top shape. Some people seem to purchase these expensive cars simply because they can afford the risk of costly repairs as a result of abuse. To be that wealthy must be nice. If you can fix the audio issues (missing speakers), you can drop in a newer UConnect without needing to program anything, Carplay is nice to have. It's a super easy mod to do and I'd 100% recommend it. That said, that car is ROUGH. I seriously wonder what the owner did to make the interior look like that. Worst part is that you need a whole new front fascia at the very least, and maybe a new right front fender. Looks like the mounting studs on the fascia were ripped out. Also surprised to see that it doesn't look like it got the Harmon/Kardon speaker system. It's quite decent for a factory system, but it won't win a SPL battle

Really depressing what's happening to Chrysler now, we should have had a Charger/300/Challenger complete redesign in 2018. And now they replace it with an EV that's only 2020 competitive and priced in 2025 inflation dollars.

Hellcats were not the fastest or powerful filters of the era. There was the P47 Tunderbolt, The Corsair, and then came the ultimate fighter the P51 mustangs the best of WWII. I personally owned a few Mopars. Back in the late 70's. A 68 Roadrunner 383.then a 69 426 Hemi Roadrunner. And a 71 dodge Challenger RT SE. with a built up 440. THOSE WERE THE DAY. Almost bought a demon Challenger a couple years ago. But with age comes wisdom. As even with a prefect driving record. Only one accident in 5 decades witch wasn't my fault I was hit and runed .

Hellcats don’t have the lifter problem. It’s an MDS cylinder deactivation thing. 6.2 hemis and manual cars don’t have MDS so the lifters are fine. Your typical MDS delete kit uses hellcat style lifters.

I drove the Challenger as a rental car and I have to say that it was the most unpleasant riding, the most claustrophobic for outward view, the least smooth drive train, and with it being a sporty car, difficult to climb in and out of. The fuel economy was worse than my sister's F-150. But, it did accelerate well. A one trick pony.
