This is the first time I watched one of your videos, and I have to say that I like your presentation. I don't know If you can, but you really should consider making this NEWWWWS a daily - or at least a weekly- segment. Your " apparent " lack of care for presentation etiquette sprinkled with un-forced comedy, is a refreshing take. Good luck and wish you the best.

Bro, you crack me up. You're dead on, I'm being myself with my comedy while trying to look professional yet not all at once. I'm glad you like my take on this segment, I'm gonna try to make it a more regular thing depending on my schedule. Thanks for the words and for watching, much appreciated!

THE LEFT LANE! Hahahaha Al it’s great seeing another video of you doing “The NUUUUUUUSS” 😀 Brother I’m sorry to hear the Acura Legend is no longer with you. That’s painful😔, hopefully you can find another one soon. I’ll keep an eye out for another one for you and we can get you back on track! What do you think of the 95 Acura Legends? Those were pretty good looking, I liked them. Always good seeing a new upload bud, hope you’re keeping it safe and have a great weekend! -Steve

Steve! Glad you liked THE NEWS!!! I like your spelling of it though, made me laugh. I'm on the lookout, I'll find another classy beater alright. The gen 2 Legends had some head gasket problems which is why I normally avoid them. I'll just have to annoy the woman in the gold Legend that parks outside the church to buy her car, I may have no other choice 😁 More to come bro, stay tuned and thanks for always tuning in!

@@Altek1 how’ve you been brother? Happy Belated Easter! I was watching your videos over again to get some increases on the views. Hope this helps you and the channel out. When will you be doing another “news segment”? I liked these videos a lot! Very informative and fun to watch. Hope you’re doing well man, wishing you all the best and if I had social media I’d connect with you more on those platforms. Stay safe bro! Looking forward to seeing another upload hopefully sometime soon.

Please get a 1994 Acura Legend Coupe or the 4 door GS 6 speed manual transmission to replace your beater Legend. Would love to see your reviews. They represent one of the best cars that came out of Japan in the 1990’s.
@Altek14 жыл бұрын
I always wanted the gen2 but i heard about head gasket issues. Someone mentioned how to rectify it but i didn't want to get involved unless i found a perfect example, which i've yet to find. Either way, i'll look for one to review if i come across one. Thanks for checking out my news by the way, it gets very few views.

I think the 2020 Corvette look nice. I think mid engine concept is awesome. The buttons are head scratching. So far spread, I think back to my World of Warcraft days when people would keybind to the 12 key(I hope someone understands this reference). I still can't get over the Active Fuel Management and Direct Injection. RIP the Legend. Lexus is certainly not a bad option. First Gen Acura TL3.2 would be a sharp choice too if you can find one.
@Altek15 жыл бұрын
Being a mid engine, it's cool to see how they played with the styling and performance. Direct injection is badass but I don't trust something to deactivate cylinders for the long term, seems like it's just something else that could break. I don't completely get your WoW reference but I think I get where you're coming from. First gen TL was tight, you're right about that. I'm open to just about anything but I'm patient enough to find something low mileage. Whatever I find, I'll be doing a video on it for sure.

I really like the c8 and the price point. It's going to be sold out and marked over sticker so that sucks the fun out.
@Altek15 жыл бұрын
You're 100% right, look what's happening to the Supra, one place doubled the price already (highly doubt it sold though). The good thing is that if the demand is high enough, maybe other manufacturers will start pumping out similar sexy low cost models. That's what I thought the NSX was going to be from Acura but they priced it 100k more than I expected.
@FamasXFreak5 жыл бұрын
Nice little video, would you ever see yourself purchasing a C8?
@Altek15 жыл бұрын
Glad you liked it. At my current salary, no, but if that and the lack a garage wasn't a thing, I'd jump on this. Maybe not the first year model, I'd let them work the kinks out and grab the following year. What are your thoughts?

@@Altek1 Being in my early 20s, and lack of Corvette money. Unfortunately no, if I had the money, yes I'd definitely consider it. You make a good point of waiting a year or two as well. Also while I'm saddened by the fact that there won't be a manual transmission. It seems like it will be a blast without one. Anyways I'm currently shooting for smaller goals like a Miata, FRS/BRZ or a WRX for my next car.

Altek I wish I could send you a picture but I want your personal opinion I was giving a 1994 Honda Accord 1994 with only 33,000 miles on it. My high school buddies dad‘s car that passed away. The car has been sitting for 10 years without being driven. I’ve put about $1300 into it so far. The car at this point it’s like it’s pulled out of the showroom brand new. My question to you is you think I’m crazy for putting a sunroof in the car? I’ve been watching some KZbin videos where people have them installed electric sunroofs. I value your opinion.
@Altek14 жыл бұрын
Oh wow, talk about a good find, however, I'm sorry for you buddies loss. The only problem with dumping a lot of money into it is that if something ever happens to the car, the insurance company will only ever pay you out $1000 max I'm assuming. Since it's over 25 years old, you can do classic car insurance which will save you a ton of money, plus you can list the value with them. I'd set it at about $3500 to make sure you can get back what you put in if the worse case scenario ever happens. If someone knows the car and wants to buy it, they'll pay about that much especially with that mileage. You're talking about a car that'll easily last another 200k miles if it's in the shape you claim it is. As for the sunroof, that's a tricky one. You'll spend a good amount on that and in the end you may end up with a leak. But if you trust the person installing it, just make sure you're not setting yourself up to lose $2k in the long run. I'm curious to know how that ends up.

06-07 Accord v6 6-speed sedan to replace Acura. Or if you get another legend or a vigor or an ES, they can all be had with a manual.
@Altek15 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't have thought about an ES in stick for that year but I'll look, good idea. I actually have a manual Accord on my radar, I think it's a 2006 in near perfect condition. I work with the owner so I'm slowly trying to break her down. I'll do a video on whatever I end up finding. Thanks for watching!

@@Altek1 Hoovie had a manual ES, don't know the Year (1998?).
@Altek15 жыл бұрын
Someone just mentioned that in another comment, now I'm on the hunt for one. I'm only finding automatics so far, I just came across an 01 in NJ for about $4500 with only 88k on it. If I can talk that price down some I'll be going in the right direction.

Hey what are those rims on the integra? They look amazing. The new c8 looks awesome. it's too bad I work at a gmc/buick dealership. I might see one of these in a year since the Chevy dealer is across the street
@Altek15 жыл бұрын
Hey cj, the rims are Rota Slipstream 15x6.5. They do complete the look pretty well against the red. The C8 is shockingly attractive. If Buick did the new Regal justice, you'd have something to look forward to, it's not a bad car but it seems you'd have to look across the street to see something that badass. Thanks for watching bud!

Goodbye, Modern Stupidity, excuse me, Modern Family, you were on the air 11 seasons too long. Now all that is needed is for Young Sheldon, Batwoman, Black Lightning, and all other stupid and hate mongering trash to be off of the air, for cartoons to return on Saturday mornings, and things will be better for the world.
