Chevy Colorado | BLACK Headlight Projector Build. DIY.

I could not, for the life of me, find the headlight set up I was looking for. I really wanted dual projector headlights with a gloss black background. I came close to finding a couple of options. However, either they weren't gloss black, they didn't have dual projector, or they had the white LED strips within the housing. I wanted something clean to match Yeti Max.
I ended up watching a ton of KZbin videos and collected parts and information to build my own headlights. I am happy to say, I did not melt a brand new set of headlights, and they ended up being exactly what I was looking for.
These headlights will definitely complete Yeti Max build perfectly.

Very cool upgrade. I found your channel after the algorithm sent me over here. The last headlight retrofit I did had D2R bulbs combined with the Morimoto cut-off and made a badass set of lights. Just curious if you upgraded the low beam as well as the high beam with Morimoto projectors. Could you link the products you used for the build? I'd like to build a set like yours.

So these are factory head lights. I bought the morimoto mini HB LED projectors. I got Klearz turn signal replacement ones that are smoked/clear. And that’s really it. The rest was paint and trying to not screw it up. Morimoto makes the sealant also (black color). It was relatively simple, just a little time consuming and the oven part was stressful lol.

I’ll be putting LED bulbs behind the factory projectors to have them match color and strength.
