I own a 2017 GT 5.0 resonator delete, an muffler delete, it's LOUD, but that sounds amazing!!!, next car yup a vette!!

I had a cammed '07 with long tubes and straight pipes. Sounded absolutely menacing...but the drone was awful. I put NPP's back on it. I would have done the Carven R's though.

I would not vote for the muffler delete (this is not "straight piped") but in this case I will pick this over the Carven. The X-pipe made the tone a lot better in my opinion.

The 2nd Vette is not straight piped unless they also removed the catalytic converters. It has muffler delete. Its probably louder that the Carven R vette, but it's almost guaranteed to sound horrible at certain RPMs versus the 1st car with the two mufflers.

Can anyone tell me if the straight pipes are very loud? Video doesn't do it justice. I have a 2006 with factory exhaust. TOO QUIET! LOL

Carven system sounds great, the straight pipes are too guttaral. Have to imagine that's gonna resonate like crazy inside the car and the X pipe is always the wrong decision over an H pipe.

@@limited9024 hmmm 🤔 My 5.3 is still very healthy .. and it’s the 295 HP 5.3 so maybe an H-pipe wouldn’t hurt . Can you do a dual exhaust setup with an H pipe .. that includes long tube headers? I got some waiting to be installed .
