Rear fill just increases volume which is nice for some people. Sound is very subjective
@cup_and_cone6 жыл бұрын
Rear fill matters the most when you turn your head, you hear the front bias and imbalanace (absence) of sound from the rear. When we drive we're constantly turning our heads around, not stuck face forward like a mannequin. In a parked demo it doesn't matter too much, but in "real world", most people find lack of immersion.
@alexisking43166 жыл бұрын
thechosendude rearfill is absolutely your worst nightmare in sq installs rear speakers in general other than a subwoofer ruins sq installs
@cup_and_cone6 жыл бұрын
Alexis King - If SQ were king we wouldn't be sticking speakers in OEM locations, either. Everything is a trade-off. For many people they just want full immersion.

@PanameraTurboSEHybrid6 жыл бұрын
Not trying to offend you, but you probably had the amp tuned wrong.
@bbfoto72486 жыл бұрын
+NghtMre 1428 Were you using a sealed or ported box made to Alpine's specifications, or one that was properly designed using BassBoxPro or WINisd? Did you verify that there were no air leaks in your subwoofer box? Did you use an amplifier that sent way too many Watts than the subwoofer(s) are rated for? Did you wire the subwoofer(s) properly to provide the correct ohm load to the amplifier you were using? And was your amplifier and gain stage set up optimized so you were never Clipping the output waveform of the amplifier? Did you engage the bass boost via the amp's bass knob AND then also boost bass via EQ using the Head Unit? Did you send all of the subwoofers that you blew back to Alpine for warranty replacement? They can easily tell what most likely caused the subwoofer to fail by the type of damage or what part of the subwoofer caused the failure. This will help them to fix a problem or find a solution if there is in fact a design flaw in these subwoofers.

I'm thinking about adding 6x9s in my 2014 cruze as it didn't come with them from the factory. The problem I have is running wires the right way to the back to get sound without any issues. Any help on how to do this. Can you make a video or tutorial on how to do this?.
@jayallison35386 жыл бұрын
There are amps that the sub channel puts out some very good power Memphis 5 channel puts out 1100 watts to the sub or subs and if your doing a single subs a dual2 is ideal better than a 4ohm sub wired down to 2 ohm
@avrajsamra45486 жыл бұрын
Jay Allison yeah but it’s not all about how big the number is, it also depends on how clean the power is also

So I ran My first Choo Choo train - I hooked it up to A earthquake BT4000 Bluetooth EQ & ran out RCA'S to a massive audio bp1000.4 4CH 380WATTS or 360watt RMS 2OHM stable bridgable 4CH There is no gain on either other than bass gain < all the way down> But there is a 9v output for RCA and the massive audio 4ch happens to accept up to 9v now I have the amp set halfway & the EQ is either 50% or 75% on mid midbass trebil & BASS is 25% or 50% no rattling sounds loud AF & super super clean- I'll post a video- But she wants it louder it extremely loud but the amp RCA voltage is at 50% / 4.5v I can go 100% to 9v but is that bad I'll retune the EQ obviously as needed but I feel it might not get much louder other than the speaker's< 4 ALPINE 6.5" the thin Mexican 1's from amzn> breaking in!

fdfc78 in one of the QA videos Dean explained that they outsource that work to someome else. The dust and noise isnt practical considering they only have one small bay. Bigger places like Steve Mead and Car Audio Dynasty have huge shops and tons of room. Steve Mead even has two CNC computer controlled laser cutting machines to do his boxes.

had you actually listened to what was said first they don't even make a dash kit for it and second there was features he wanted to retain. Youre the type that wants attention and so off your flash others prefer actually being able to not have it stolen because if there is no flash then there is nothing to steal according to the criminal world.

If he cant install an aftermarket head then I get it. Some manufactures, like Mazda, now are extremely hostile towards the aftermarket. Mazdas new stereo systems in the 2016 and newer vehicles are complete garbage. I wont buy any car that I cant install an aftermarket radio in it. The problem with stock radios is their lack of features, weak output and inability ao add new features. Factory manufacturers take the "Apple route" of saying "sucks to be you, guess you have to buy a whole brand new car" if you want a new feature or sometimes if something fails.

Why not do a dual2 ohm sub to get a 1 ohm load of your doing a 5 channel amp
@lakorai26 жыл бұрын
Jay Allison Many 5 channel amplifiers are not 1 or .5 ohm stable. Usually if you want tot do that you would want a 4 channel and a high powered monoblock that is 1 ohm stable.
