Done so many Hyundais. The SWC is always pins B4 & B17. Bluetooth mic is always B10 & B22. Also you don't need the SWI-RC.

@@jamesknight2300 I did this on my 2017 Santa Fe Sport, I retained the stock radio and ran an Audiocontrol LC7i using the factory speaker wires to get front channel, rear channel, and subwoofer RCAs for my aftermarket amps. The wires aren't as pretty as Dean and Fernando would have done, but I have all factory features (including USB/AUX, Sirius XM and music storage on the radio's hard drive) retained.

@@CashGordonBeats I ran a single 5-channel amp to power the doors and a sub. I tapped in behind the radio and ran wiring from the radio to the amp and then from the amp back to the door speaker wires behind the radio. The sub output comes directly from the amp to the sub in the back. If you take out the foam tray under the cargo floor, there is PLENTY of room for a stealth install of your amp and a pair of shallow-mount subs. I used to run two Kicker 12's with passive radiators under that floor with some homemade spacers, the install was 100% hidden even when you open the hatch.

I’m hooked on your channel. You guys make this look so easy. I would never have the patience to do this but I’m glad you guys are around to do this. I bet these companies that make these harnesses pull there hair out, not sure how they do it but I’m sure they have their work cut out for them making these harnesses. Is there one vehicle that you guys could not make nothing work in? Wish you guys were near me, I could sure use a major overhaul on my stereo, I want more loudness plus I have a distortion comming from a speaker. Driving me crazy.

I don't feel bad about the USB harness anymore. Of the two I found, I think it only works on a Genesis, doesn't work on Kia either. Had to modify the factory to take a USB extension and call it done.

I have a Kia Sorento, basically the same thing. For the Aux and USB ports I used that same harness you dismissed but had to repin it. did it with the service manual and it works great. Only thing I had to do was to tap a cable for ilumination and that was it.

Jose Calderon DONT ever buy pioneers radio. NEX CAN NOT EVEN LAST FOR A YEAR. Sent it for warranty. Authorized dealer states damage through mail. The is BS. I WOULD AVOID THE RADIO

You can keep the factory radio and use either a LOC or use an amp that accepts hi-level input signal directly. Some amps (every Kicker made in the last 10 years, MB Quart Formula, etc.) can take hi-level RCA input directly if you use speaker-to-RCA converters (Kicker KISL, Rockford Fosgate RFiF2SW, etc.) Check to see if you need to run a 12V turn-on trigger, before I switched to Kicker amps I ran a +12V from the power outlet in the rear to the amp with no issues.

So does this setup retain the climate display. On my 2015 this is the only way to know what the heater settings etc are. So really I interested to know as this is the only thing stopping me upgrading.. Thanks.

I noticed this install was done on a SFS with the base radio, the radio in my 2017 model has more features/integration than this. Same question about the climate control display, but I also wanted to know if the track info still shows up on the little dashboard display window like it would with the factory radio. And does the climate control still automatically turn down the fan speed when using voice commands or talking on the phone? I won't be swapping out the factory radio until I can replicate those features with an aftermarket unit. Then again, the Audiocontrol LC7i worked wonders for my aftermarket amp and subs...and I retained all of the factory goodness and Sirius XM anyway.

@@kjbad1 the way you did it with the active line out converter is the best solution for what you wanted. The dash display will go through a canbus more than likely, and the maestro boxes aren’t compatible with Hyundai as a plug and play, unfortunately. The climate stuf definitely won’t display on the aftermarket head unit. The optional head units that come as original equipment are just too integrated.

@@Chukijay I swapped over to Kicker KX amps, no need for the LC7i anymore since they take hi-level input RCAs directly. I may eventually run Kicker Key amps since they take hi-level RCAs and have the DSP built in, but for now there's no getting around that factory head unit.

don198769 Bro they advertise and use their products a lot, go to Pac Audio website and search your vehicle. The SWI-RC (Check to see if your Pioneer radio has the steering wheel control 3.5 aux jack. Don't remember if all pioneers have it, I think they do) is what your looking for.
