Not necessarily boost surge, MAP sensor is trying to compensate for the lack of vacuum (big cams are notorious for problems like this) thus telling the IAC it needs more power.... THEN freaking out when she gets more air. Thats the simple version of the problem, blower doesn't help for sure lol. Viscous cycle, Jeremy will be able to iron that out easy peasy.

Our burnout pads are small on purpose and have entry and exit chutes to play around in.. It shows the skills of the skidders. They get points for non stop smoke, full use of the track, speed and not hitting walls. 2 mins to blow the tyres off. It may take you a few meets to get your regulations competitive, can't wait to watch it! Hope you get a better good "aussie style" comp goin! Good luck mate!

Add the cams, pulley change, and being able to use that single giant opening throttle body, and they can easily see a 20% power increase, more like 25%.

People talk a lot of shit about ford but.... does Garret not love this car? It takes a certain level of intellect and logic to understand what each manufacturer has in mind with each engine. Ford may have more moving parts but they are trying to catch things from all angles. I love all engines and anything automotive, I’m a veteran mechanic for both ford and GM. This video is awesome. The reason Ford decided to go with a DOHC setup over the traditional OHV is because they were trying to eliminate valve float in high RPMs. Its amazing for keeping high hp and torque numbers, but it makes the modifications more expesive.
