I just got a low mileage 2010 SS in crystal red metallic, sadly it’s an automatic tho which takes away from the car.

I need to get myself a ss version lmao I love my HHR but the engine bay isn't big enough to fit a turbo. Not to mention I'd have to basically replace the whole engine to be able to withstand all the performance lol

honestly if you could find a supercharger or turbo from a cobalt i bet you could fit it in the engine bay. depending on if you have a 2.2 or a 2.4L. if you have the 2.2L i’ve seen someone take the supercharger or turbo from a 2.2 ss cobalt and put it on his hhr ls model

I have an SS version. The turbo is tucked in by the firewall. The precat and catalytic converter is moved more under the car. All I can say is manual F35 or F40 are for power. The automatic apparently are fragile transmissions.

Not sure on this one, mine is an ss with an intake, zzp intercooler package, catless down pipe, efr 7163 turbo with maf relocation and 50mm zzp blow off, and a clutch performance autowerks stage 1 f35 (stronger stock 5 spd trans). That setup makes about 420 wheel. On stock tires and a 3.7 second 60 ft time, and spinning under full boost in second, I run low 9s at around 87mph. Videos on my channel before ic package, Trans, and clutch.tune was still being dialed in with those times.

I have a stock SS. This one is modified. For shits and giggles put mine in competition mode/launch mode and bounced the rev-limiter. It sounds mean as fuck. Granted only hearing the engine side.
