I am in a pickel = they keep asking me is it FE1 or FE3 or FE5 suspension and they are different length on them = some 11.80 inches long and the other = 9.86 inches - people say how easy ( not ) the job is and i can't get past first base = identifiying my suspension ??

If possible remove the part. Take it to the parts store. Match it with the correct replacement.

It is a rust free AZ car. Sounds like they are spinning on you. Try some lubricant. They can be troublesome when they spin.

that looked pretty easy,, I rarely use a torque wrench for anything other than head bolts and bearing bolts on car engines,

@@SteveAZ711 I am by no means an expert but I just try to get them tight without breaking any of them off, I know that's not according to rules though.

Yep you can get a feel for the torque when you take a nut or bolt loose Sometimes a torque wrench just will not fit and you have to re-tighten by feel. Many times I still do this as well, and in lots of non-critical applications. Most likely, there is a torque setting for everything, and it would be ridiculous to grab a torque wrench every time one had to re-tighten something.

I need these for my HHR Is there any link available for the part? I have Google it but with so many terms being thrown around whether these are tortio. Or stabilizer or links or sway bar links or any them in-between. I need some guidance on the exact part to order

No. Sounds like it is worn out and should be replaced.

That's great but what do you do when the nut turns with the bolt

If there is no place for an Allen wrench (hex key) at the bolt shaft end then Liquid Wrench the threads first. Then with narrow vice grips hold the shaft as close to the end as possible. Once you have the nut backed off to the Narrow vice grips, put the vice grips or pliers behind the nut and loosen it the rest of the way. In the video I held the shaft by pulling back on the stabilizer to add tension while I took the nut off.

Why don't they have grease fitting

You can get them with grease fittings.
