How cool it would be to have an inexpensive symmetrical port cylinder head for the 440 Mopar.

I thought the same thing for a long time. Wouldn't want to see a larger version of th LS head though. The GM guys would have a field day with that one since the big block Mopar head already resembles the SBC head so much. What about a larger version of the Poly head. Keep the single rocker shaft, canted valve layout, raise the ports. Bottom line is it's business. Nobody is going to invest all that money for R&D and in the end be "in the red" on the books only to hear "it doesn't look like a big block Mopar head".

Why when Indy heads Made everything from a Max wedge to almost same as B-1 head? I like the Max wedge port Trick flows myself. all a bolt on. SD Concepts had a 383 Mopar in the mid 8s and now a 1200 hp 383. naturally aspirated can go 800 plus easily. so fo older design I am in favor of their design. at much lower cost then a LS Block 440s 400s can be had much cheaper at 50 years old
