It’s in the back side of the engine on the same side as this one is right directly on the other side of it

According to what I was told at O'Reilly's...4 of them. I was told 2 & 3 are common to malfunction, 4 fairly rare & 1 very rare...of course, 1 is showing bad on mine(actually my Father-n-Law's). I'm hoping this was 1 in this tutorial, as it seems pretty easy. By the way, #1 co$t me $63.(@ O'Reilly's)

Here's A TIP!!! JUST REPLACED the Bank 1 Intake Solenoid. BEWARE!!! The replacements come with the 10 mm Hex screw.... Some of them do not have the NON Threaded starter.... Designed to find the Hole. DO NOT THROW AWAY THAT SCREW! You might need it !!!! The hardest part in the whole Job....THE STUPID PLASTIC Connector that plugs onto the end of the Solenoid!!!!

well, on the 2014 Malibu, it's the Intake Solenoid which is the Back one. the Exhaust Solenoid is the Front of Engine where the Exhaust Manifold is of course. they are on the Left side of engine opposite each other.@@hmoltzz

hmoltzz, just checked again, the P0014 code is for the Exhaust side. thats the front solenoid!! do you have A 4 cylinder or v-6 ? I would search it out on the web !@@hmoltzz

I don't know how broken it is, But I used A Tie Wrap, black prefferably just to hold the Lead wire to the input connector. there is a little white or red tab that is flat. that needs to be pulled back and it's not much. like an 1/8 of an inch @@stephanie8327
