Shane has really improved his skills.....compare this performance to same song in June. I'm really enjoying seeing the band get tighter and tighter. Looking forward to their December shows in Cali.

Is this with the late Taylor Hawkins son?

Yes, Shane Hawkins. Taylor started Chevy Metal as a side project when he had time off from the Foo Fighters. When Taylor died, Wiley (the blond singer) and Brent (long black hair) thought that was the end, but then Shane (Taylor’s son) decided he wanted to continue Taylor’s band and took his place as the drummer. They had a few shows planned for November, but cancelled 2 of them. No explanation why. They did play this one in Wisconsin and in Chicago the night before and have some planned over Christmas in California
