Good job buddy, my fan is also loud as hell but it works! you will be safe in the summer ;-) keep in mind to buy an alternator with high output at idle rpm. cheap alternators mostly cant do that, thats why i bought a powermaster instead of a cheap one from summit. compare that before you make a decision.

The battery isn't going to like running the fan and water pump with the engine off for long periods of time. The bigger alternator will help especially at idle, but if you ever get a chance to use a DC amp meter on the charge wire on the alternator you will be surprised. Between lights, ignition boxes and water pump/fan, it adds up quick.

My big block has two pushers one puller and 165 temp thermostat and stays at 150 in traffic in the hottest time of the year! Check out my c10 pickup! Awesome video dude
