@LsBluu I was worried about getting in over my head because I've never swapped anything. I happened to find your channel, and no more than 3 weeks passed before I found a sweet deal on the truck. So, I jumped on it and am currently working on a 5.3 for it.

How come no sway bar? I know you do alot of staight line stuff. The sway bar does more than anti roll. Im just womdering, is it a weight reducing aspect?

I removed the front sway bar for weight transfer and weight reduction. I removed the rear sway bar because I couldn’t get it to fit to my 9” rear end. I haven’t gotten to the point where I need the upgrade to an Anti roll bar just yet.

He's made it pretty clear he's not going with a turbo. He's going the procharger route if I remember correctly. And I get it, this truck is badass I plan to build one, possibly if I don't a gbody I can't make my mind up. But I'm going with a manual transmission it's just my personal preference. The manuals are disappearing and I want to keep it alive and have something to work with my son's on.

Don't waste your $$$ on sliders. Use nylon nuts tightend down but allowing the shackle to not bind. Just double check them before racing. Never had an issue nor and annoying clank from the sliders while street driving.
