Unless you are doing an all origional restoration why would anyone still use these cannonballs when you have mini starters with less weight and more torque ?

Everything is metric not standard but standard will work in a pinch don't strip bolts

No it's not. A metric wrench may fit some of the heads better but they have standard threads, and type threads are how bolts and nuts are categorized.

he makes me sleepy!!! to listen to him talk. why is he using a extension and a deep socket for this job? I know they used to make a rebuild kit for these starter.but! now it's all about the GREEN!!! they want you to buy a whole new or rebuilt starter. Damn Manufactures.
