Classic AC Delco (i.e. Chevy) 10MT Starter Rebuild

Why buy a questionable import rebuild when you can do it yourself? Probably one of the most-produced starters ever, the Delco 10MT is simple to understand, and simple to rebuild.
The cheapest (and only?) full rebuild kits I found were on eBay, so that's where I'd head if you need all the parts.

I wish it were possible to still buy a battery charger without all the safety features on it. I don't know if they were a franchise, like NAPA, but, I think I've seen an Auto Electric Rebuilders store in just about every city in the N.East of the United States I've ever lived in.

Yeah, that charger was something inherited from my father-in-law and better than anything I've seen for sale in decades.
