I came to this video looking for someone off roading a trailblazer. For THAT this video is a let down. However you guys did seem to make a LOT of milkshakes, slang some mud, and had fun doing it. I'm giving your vid a "like" though for the kid along for the ride smiling happy as a clam. :-)

i remember when my xterra was stock like that. then i cut everything i got rid of those running boards i gor some 33s and lift kit and body lift and locker etc etc lol

@@a.sanford8731 I'm planning to do the same to my 2002 4x4 v6 base model (no cruise control drives me crazy on long highway trips). Can't wait to do the mods. It has a good set of wranglers on it now and never gets stuck like this video. I'm shocked to see this X get this stuck. That must be some super slick clay mud. Some 33" Venom Terra Hunters or Arturo Trail Blades & a rear locker would have cruised right though that. If not, then I'd be really pissed! Haha!

Street tires and mud holes dont play well together now 8in suspension and 2in body lift with 36 or 37 inch mud tires work wonders for making your truck a mess lol

That’s why I got me some 31 inch bf Goodrich mt’s on my 01 Xterra haven’t got stuck yet got water inside once after hitting a huge hole but still managed to get it out check my Xterra out on my instagram @ foringero78 I have the flooded pics on there

dustin turner no when I originally got the Trailblazer I didn't plan on much off-roading so I just done visual upgrades to it with some random mods and fixes but now I'm building it for off-road and I just installed Tahoe Z71 rear springs on it and bilstean front struts next I'm doing the full with but the rear springs gave it a inch up and the new struts gave the front a half of a inch

Not to many Chevys can keep up with Xterras unless they are heavily modded. That's just reality. This Xterra likely just needs some more aggressive tires run at a lower pressure and I'd bet it would rip right through that mud. My 02 Xterra does way better offroad than my Z71 for rocky trails & mud. Of course, the Z71 feels better at higher speeds on mild dirt roads, with it's longer wheelbase & taller tires. My 2005 diesel 4x4 Excursion is on another level but just doesn't fit lot of placed, lol. The Xterra is my poormans-jeep. It can't do everything that a Wrangler can do but it comes dam close for a fraction of the $ and I trust the reliability more. Nothing wrong with trailblazers but Xterras rock!

The non PRO-4X versions mostly have typical 4x4 with some traction control, making it a basic 4x4. A PRO-4X has factory diff lockers, lower gear ratio, and more lenient traction control when you turn VDC off.
