Chevy Volt Solar Battery Balancing

No BMS; no balancing for four years. Perfectly in balance.

My chevy volt setup, is about 4yrs old and only 1 cell had to be balanced. I have 16 packs and they work wonderful

What do you mean by 16 packs? Like the batteries from 16 cars or 16 36 cell blocks?

16ea 12cell packs in parallel using a large breaker panel. 56kwh worth of backup. I also have a conect 6848xw inverter/charger and 10kw wotmrtg of solar panles

Thanks. It is simple, cheap, and works well. It is also scalable. I need to make it bigger next summer to charge my car better.
