@@aidenbooksmith2351 Well you could use Mods like Extended Timeline which do account for modern borders with their provinces, comes with the nice addition of pretty much all nations being included. You should be able to just replicate the modern map back in 1444. Maybe a few mechanics (or nations) intended for a later timeframe (if there are any significant ones, I don't know much about the mod) could be a bit problematic, but maybe that's no big deal.

If you ever do this again you might want to make it so that the ability to participate in the League War being limited to countries who have their capitals in Europe (as EU4 defines it) is removed or have the HRE set to have a version of religious peace at game start that allows heathens to become the emperor as well.

A new Idea - give a Nation, maybe Byzantium, "endless" Diplom Reputation. Im not talking about 10 or 20 - give them 10000 :D They could do silly things like vassalise the ottomans day 1, fully loyal. Butbthey are capped with diplo slots. They also would become HRE emperor. They Annex Subjekts in 1 day. Could work out great, could fail immediatly :D Of course you can also take another nation, but the concept is the same. Cheers

You should check out my mod Fall of the Empire. It does the standard anti bobbing stuff, buffs or debuffs based on factors like prestige legitimacy stability. But, the main thing is the playable rebels, where rebels by event become a tag that you can switch to as the player fight or leave alone. This means dead tags can easily re appear.

You can make that. But it's finicky. On surface level it is fine, but there is a lot of baggage with HRE that would take a lot of time to replicate. Burgundian Iheritence, Protestant Reformation, Shadow Kingdom, Various tags in and around HRE have specific things that tie to the HRE, the league war, etc etc. It is pain, I once swapped HRE and China, but never did these details because it was just too much work for a silly mod for friends.
