Chewy and Crispy Beef Meatballs made with Healthy Ingredients
Found a good Meatball recipe shared by Mrs. Devi Setia Rianti at CP. She adapted her recipe from Mrs. Fatmah Bahalwan’s recipe. The result is just: WOW…! it’s really good.
The texture is crispy and bouncy like rubber balls. Moreover, it also soft, smooth and tasty. Oh, it’s the right definition of delicious to eat, and nice to look at. Ok, for Mrs. Devi and Mrs. Fatmah, who have inspired me, I thank you very much and wish you all the best.
Ingredients
The Main Ingredients
250 grams Lean Beef;
100 grams Ice Cubes;
40 grams Tapioca Flour, replaceable with Sago Flour;
1 tbsp Fried Garlic;
1 tbsp fried Shallots;
1 tsp Coarse salt;
1 tsp Broth Powder;
½ tsp Pepper Powder;
½ tsp Baking Powder.
// NOTE: One of the keys to making the meatballs chewy is the addition of the coarse salt in the meatball dough. Therefore, for the coarse salt, it should not be replaced with the ordinary fine salt.
