@@jeriw It's been a crazy few months. I had mentioned last video awhile back I'd do a video of those 4 winged flying insects that always hung around my pond. Well after I promised a video I didn't see any all Summer. Very bizzare. But again, lots of changes here in nature. Missing hummingbirds,Robin's, possums, skunks, foxes, raccoons. I've never seen such a loss of critters we saw constantly in my area.

@@rickdaystar477 Well I have one hummer left, maybe not now as it got down to 21 early this morning. But I suspect it's the same one I had all winter last year, we'll see............ My other critters have kind of disappeared also, maybe they know something we don't know???

@@jeriw I believe it might be the same hummingbird. I told you the story about mine returning awhile back? They beat me to the feeder that was not up yet one year.. They hovered over a completely open space exactly where the feeder hangs. Nothing was in place yet they knew the spot outside a second story window! Unbelievable creatures. Every time I see crazy weather in Arizona I wonder how your doing. I think you have an arroyo close by that floods? Every time I drive through Arizona I wish I could stay. I love the desert .

@@rickdaystar477 I have a normally driver river bed that runs right at the back of my property but it ran several times this year already yet we still haven't had our normal rain fall totals yet, go figure. It's called the Babacomari River and starts in the west end of the Huachuca Mountains. And when it runs, I have to ways out but both ways are blocked by the river. But that's OK, I stock up my freezers and do just fine for a few days. If I had 4x4 I'd be out probably that next day but no big deal. I have neighbors with 4x4 and they'd take me somewhere if it was an emergency. As for hummingbirds, every spring when the rest of them come back, usually starts in March, they will go to ever hook I have on my porch eaves and hover or come look in my window at me, little beggars. But now I only have one to feed so it will be easy. I never see him but noticed the feeder going down so I put out a recorder under the feeder and YUP he's here as I could hear that hum of his wings.
