Beautiful, I haven't seen so many flowers in one place since I was at Keukenhof in Holland. Sorry the air is crap, I wish the Thai government would teach the farmers new practices so they wouldn't have to burn the fields.

Hey Bill, I'm not so dialed into the various Chiang Mai vblogs these days but I picked up that you are facing some challenges. I just want to wish you the best for the future. Dad went through the same sort of thing about 5 years ago. Dad has kicked on despite the consequences of surgery and will be 93 in a few days time. As you once said to me, hang in there. I do hope that you can journey through this and find value in life even with the changes and challenges ahead. Cheers, Jim

Hello Bill, love your videos as always. I am from beautiful British Columbia, 70 years old and happily married to a chinese lady from Nanning China just 600 miles north east of Chiang mai. We are leaving Canada in Aug. or Sept. for Nanning. My wife has a rent free apt to live in near her large family and we intend to fly to Chiang Mai for Dec. Jan. and Feb. Do hope to meet you and your wife. If you have acid indigestion a cheap and very quick relief from this stomach annoyance is Baking Soda. Harmless and quick acting you just need very little mixed with water and relief is almost instant. GMO affects my stomach and I have been using baking soda for the last 15 years. You and I have to make it to 85years, good old age, take care, all the best, thinking of you, John and Yanfeng.

He'll o my friend I enjoy your vlogs I lived in Thailand 🇹🇭 back in the 1970's was married to a beautiful Thai woman for 18yrs ,always loved the Peacefulness of the people. That's why I enjoy seeing Thailand 🇹🇭 on your blogs The thing I enjoyed the most about remembering about Her was how smart She was ,Her Father when We left Thailand to come live in the United States Told Her there's only One God Jesus or Budda You Choose! I'm So Glad of His Wisdom ,She Died over 42 yrs ago and I know Where SHE is With Her Lord God Jesus Christ in Heaven! Where all going to die someday and we'll get the same choice but there's only one Jesus that died on the Cross for us and came back to life so that we have a way to eternal life and We must choose with our Heart and speak it out with our mouth . When I move to Chiangmai eventually, I will probably leave for 2-3 months during the "smoke season". This is the only drawback to living in Chiang mai I can think of.

A nice video as are many of the ones you've uploaded. I saw the parade on Saturday & went to Nong Buak Haad on Sunday to see all the floats and beautiful displays. I am sorry to hear about your health issues. I can sympathize, as I had surgery at Chiang Mai Ram last month from which I am still recovering . I am shopping for a health insurance plan that providers in Thailand can direct bill & I was wondering if you perhaps had any recommendations? I have an O visa, so I don't need insurance to satisfy a visa requirement, only to help cover the increasing number of doctor visits that I have here every year. I've contacted a few companies, but there are about 7 or more and the premiums & coverages vary greatly. I wish you well on your health issues & hope you can continue to produce videos for a long time.
